19C in finland, Turku.

Having a beer in the city atm, perfect weather since it's also the right amount of windy

This is the old normal! That 25 + degrees already in June while that might be very nice in some ways, is not normal. On top of that, most of our (older) buildings are traditionally built to reserve heat and not the other way around.

Ackshually...

Insulation works both ways. You're not supposed to let the heat in during summer as you don't let the cold in during winter. Open the windows only at night when it's the coolest outside. Outside blinds, shutters or special window film works wonders. I highly advise buying a ventilator. I know at least Prisma in Estonia sells ventilators with a water reservoir that helps to cool the air.

Other than that I agree that these hot Junes that we've been experiencing are not normal for us. It's just that we're now experiencing an extraordinarily cold spring (at least in Estonia). Even my grass isn't growing this year. I've had to mow twice. I's going to be a hard year for farmers and well ... for those who like to eat.

Helsinki currently around 18 celcius at it's best. Classic traditional June weather for once.

During last January Helsinki reached occasionally even 10+ celsius and that if something is insane! So everything needs always the perspective, and in that sense Finland during this summer is back to old normal. So far. (If ignoring the fact, that it's also been raining constantly and more heavily than it used to.)

Similar in Trondheim Norway. And for once, the sun is shining!

Natives: This is how it’s supposed to be. Tourists: ewww, cold.

We've been at a median of 17-18 degrees over in Malmö, bottoming at 13 degrees night time. Swedish "summer" never fails.

How I wish that I could go back to Finland, I moved there for half a year to work on my Bachelor's thesis and the August weather was simply phenomenal! I sent one of my Finnish friends our weather forecast and he pitied me lol

Knowing Finns, half the people are already in shorts and thongs.

I was in shorts and a t-shirt, actually got sunburnt in the face for having 2 pints in the sun

It's too cold for me, and I live in Helsinki. A 23C would be ideal, I need long sleeves for 18C. I hate it, we already have long winters, it would be nice if it was warm at least in summer...

Turku is the best. I was there for half a year when I was a student. Loved a riverside beer
