Data Hello Europe! This week we entered very high temperatures all around Europe. Right now in Belgrade, Serbia it is 39° - the hottest day of June. In the direct sun, it says over 53! So... Where are you from and what is current temperature? Hope you are all doing well!

Expect a strong storm, Kachelmann gave severe warnings for east Austria this evening.

The warnings were severe, I checked the local Kachelman weather forecast and Burgenland will very likely be hit with wind gusts up to 120kph vienna a tad less but still bad enough! Check the weather prognosis, the last one was that this area should be hit around 19 or 20h but that might change!

I just checked and theoretically it will start to get stormy at around 16:00...
I'll pray to Thor that it will at least blow in my direction, or my calves will burn through (na servus die Wadln)! xD

I love your city ❤️ I visited last July during the heat but I was never unhappy being in such a wonderful place. I hope the heat breaks soon for you

I'm not originally from Vienna, but I can't imagine living anywhere else 🥰 it really is a lovely place. I hope you visited the when you were here and went for a swim!? That's what I'll do this weekend if the heat stays like that... so it's a win any of the ways 💦

I visited two years in a row because I loved it so much. I didnt go swimming, but I'll be back next year for more.

Awesome, then bring your swimming stuff next year. The Alte Donau is basically a big lake which was once an arm of the Danube, hence the name, before Vienna regulated it (which brought us the Donauinsel btw.!). It is easily accessible by bike or public transport and you can go swimming there for free! There's also a peninsula with a public swimming beach and pools if you want it more regulated I guess, but that's not free of course 😋 Alte Donau is a great place to chill and refresh, you should definitely check it out. Enjoy your stay(s)!

30°C in my office because we are not allowed to have air conditioning or alter anything on the facede of the building. Truly truly love this city, but god damn the heat managment, or better lack there of, is gonna kill me one of these days

It was really bad in vienna today. Cloud cover made it feel like you were cooking outside
