Serbia is currently experiencing protest and clashes against the government and its police forces.

I'd like to take this opportunity to apologise.

There was a post the other day about coppers using ambulances and I was a bit glib - "so what?" and "why are protesters stopping vehicles anyway?".

I was unaware of the gravity of the situation and was simply thinking about protests in my country where they stopped ambulances.

I've educated myself on the situation in Serbia now and realise that my comments were inadvertently belittling a horrible situation.

I'm sorry about that. My sympathy is with the protesters.

Yes they used an ambulance to transport bats and drop them off for their thugs like two days ago.
