Serbia is currently experiencing protest and clashes against the government and its police forces.

This thread is to gather all the single pieces of media, pictures and videos.

However every main event and news in the form of link will deserve its own topic.

I hope I’m wrong, but given the state of the world and the intense geopolitical turmoils, the Serbians are going to be left alone in their struggle. Serbia is not a part of any established geopolitical bloc so neither the EU, nor the US, nor Russia nor China will lift a finger, they will just do „business as usual”, whatever that might mean.

Yes and no. Once the criminals have been rooted out, we can finally properly continue reforms towards the EU that have been stopped when SNS seized the state. Obviously it's not only up to us to join the EU but reforms will mostly help.

Rarely stupid comment. Romania is so ahead of us, it's not even funny.

Against Vucic? Yes. Afterwards? Not really, Vucic has amassed all the worst of the worst under his belt.

People are left on their own. You have mainstream media and Vučić saying how this is a colored revolution sponsored by the West, while he himself is getting all that West money and support, which is just fucking ironic. So you have the East which condemns the protests, you have the ruling party that uses all its resources and western support (and taxpayers money) to bully and suppress and beat us, and then you have the west which is... Deeply concerned.

As it should be, we don't really need any strings attached to our self-determination as a multicultural nation.

I'm not sure what is the reference but yes. People should be able to choose their path and yes, as any nation in the world, we are multicultural.

That’s what I keep telling some of the Westerners on this sub. We are not little Russia or Europe or China, since the fall of the Yugoslavia we’ve been left alone. Our people have been used as cheap labour, land for mines and so on. We have no friends or cooperatives, we are being used by every fucking one. At least with Russia I see they clearly chose a side, China and EU are silent on this or play both sides, which to me is worse because as a person who WAS pro EU, they’re being hypocritical. At least with China and Russia I have no hopes, they’re open authoritarian regimes and (probably) support Vucic. EU is being very suspicious and that is no way to gain points with Serbs, we have trust issues with everyone. But alas as I said EU politicians are on their annual break in August, most likely sipping cocktails in Mykonos while writing “deeply concerned” tweets.

Bruh what hybrid war with Montenegro? As a Serb never heard of it, let me ask some of my friends from here and Montenegro and I’ll let you know if that happened or is happening. For the future tho, when you are not educated in something, don’t try to educate people from the place you’re spewing nonsense about. Okay?

Well, the majority of population supports "Serbian side". Radical Montenegrins that want to create a whole new church or force a new language just don't get that much support. Those same Montenegrin nationalists were corrupted and used Serbia as a boogie man to win elections.
