I hope I’m wrong, but given the state of the world and the intense geopolitical turmoils, the Serbians are going to be left alone in their struggle. Serbia is not a part of any established geopolitical bloc so neither the EU, nor the US, nor Russia nor China will lift a finger, they will just do „business as usual”, whatever that might mean.

That’s what I keep telling some of the Westerners on this sub. We are not little Russia or Europe or China, since the fall of the Yugoslavia we’ve been left alone. Our people have been used as cheap labour, land for mines and so on. We have no friends or cooperatives, we are being used by every fucking one. At least with Russia I see they clearly chose a side, China and EU are silent on this or play both sides, which to me is worse because as a person who WAS pro EU, they’re being hypocritical. At least with China and Russia I have no hopes, they’re open authoritarian regimes and (probably) support Vucic. EU is being very suspicious and that is no way to gain points with Serbs, we have trust issues with everyone. But alas as I said EU politicians are on their annual break in August, most likely sipping cocktails in Mykonos while writing “deeply concerned” tweets.

Bruh what hybrid war with Montenegro? As a Serb never heard of it, let me ask some of my friends from here and Montenegro and I’ll let you know if that happened or is happening. For the future tho, when you are not educated in something, don’t try to educate people from the place you’re spewing nonsense about. Okay?

Well, the majority of population supports "Serbian side". Radical Montenegrins that want to create a whole new church or force a new language just don't get that much support. Those same Montenegrin nationalists were corrupted and used Serbia as a boogie man to win elections.
