Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Interior Minister Ivica Dačić (Slobodan Milošević’s successor in the Socialist Party of Serbia), with the backing of regime-controlled media, have launched a smear campaign against a journalist from one of the country’s few independent outlets. Despite receiving a flood of offensive, chauvinistic, and sexist messages, including threats against both her and her children, the police have, unsurprisingly, taken no action, while the campaign continues unabated.

At the same time, ordinary citizens and students are being arrested and charged with terrorism or “violent overthrow of the constitutional order” merely for expressing a desire for political change.

This is, unfortunately, the usual way Vučić addresses journalists in Serbia:

“Do you have a son who is 16, 17, 18 years old? Would you like someone to bring your son back to you in a coffin?”

One of the ruling party’s slogans is “For our children” - they just forgot to add “in a coffin.”

Most of the protesters arrested and tortured by the regime are men, yet you found a single example of a female journalist that experienced "Sexist" in order to make a baseless political statement?

Typical "Feminist", cherry-picking their stories to spread political propaganda.
