Didn't they bomb an EU delegation yesterday?

u/TemporaryOwlet 2d ago

Why do you need to be this petty? It was just a little bombing! They are not enemies, why don't you get it?

u/Lari-Fari Germany 2d ago

Why even call it a bombing. It was an oopsie. There you go. I already feel better.

u/Dear-Can-87 Ukraine 2d ago

In fact, the Russians call it "clapping". It's all Orwellian.

82

u/PaintedScottishWoods 2d ago

I would love to end this war by clapping Putin’s ass.

14

u/Atiyo_ 2d ago

Maybe he would like it to, try calling him.

3

u/d_T_73 2d ago

yeah, that's not gonna work. It's not like he's forcing everyone to go and kill civilians. People are doing it themselves. I mean they're signing contracts by their own. Not all, but most

2

u/DesperateTrip8369 1d ago

Maybe somebody should clap Trump

10

u/Ferspielt 2d ago

Standing Orwellians👏

3

u/Signature_Illegible 2d ago

In fact, the Russians call it "clapping".

If I remember correctly troll farms would call it Bavovna, or translated from Ukrainian "Cotton".

'Gamer moment', even.

This is how democracy dies, to thunderous applause

17

u/Familiar-Self5359 2d ago

I can't BELIEVE someone would get that rattled by a little bombing! It was just like they tripped, fell on the ground and said "ouchie!"

2

u/heyitsyourboyadam 2d ago

or as Israel likes to call it - "a mishap"

1

u/cityshepherd 2d ago

They did it as a goof!

u/Werftflammen 2d ago

The embassy was wearing that dress, she was asking for it ! Missiles have needs too !

13

u/ice-ink 2d ago

Missiles have needs too !

And for anyone unsure exactly what kind of needs - just look at their shape…

2

u/Queasy_Eagle_7156 2d ago

A mishap bombing, just like Satanyahu says.

2

u/barbareusz 2d ago

It reminded me of an old joke:

  • what was the nationality of Cupid?

russian. He flies around with his butt naked, he's armed to the teeth, he shoots at people and claims it's all to spread love

1

u/Ferrymansobol 2d ago

If it is Canadian or British, the US airforce will bomb it.

1

u/Mike71586 2d ago

Exactly, key word being friendly.

48

u/Primary_Cod_8117 Romania 2d ago

3

Unironical ork diplomacy.

2

u/obscure_monke Munster 2d ago

That poisoning was just a warning, to show we're serious. No harm meant.

2

u/Beer-Milkshakes 1d ago

Yeah. We dont shit on Saudi for killing delegates or journalists. We try to ignore it when a certain neighbour of Egypt does it every week.

1

u/Vyserk 1d ago

Ack ack ack ack ! We come in peace !

-1

u/GuqJ India 2d ago

Do we know why they attacked? Maybe there was legitimate target there?

34

u/Linus_Naumann 2d ago

Poisoning an entire city;

Conducting cyber attacks ;

Downing 2 civilian airplans;

Cutting cables;

spy with drones on NATO bases;

incendiary bombs on civilian aircraft

16

u/TV-Tommy 2d ago

Russia, so much to love, even more to destroy!

5

u/RaDeus Sweden 2d ago

Russia really is the full WHY CAN'T YOU BE NORMAL!?

2

u/Havnern 2d ago

What city?

7

u/GreenEyeOfADemon 🇮🇹 - EUROPE ENDS IN LUHANSK! 🇺🇦 Слава Україні!🇺🇦 2d ago

Salisbury poisoning. Un-ironically, when the UK accused them of the poisoning they denied saying "It's all rusophobia".

8

u/uxgpf 2d ago

Not an entire city, but their agents weren't very tidy and in Salisbury (I think) few brits died of nerve agent poisoning. (they dumped enough into a rubbish bin to kill few thousand IIRC)

And ofcourse the polonium tea in London, which luckily caused only one casualty.

7

u/GreenEyeOfADemon 🇮🇹 - EUROPE ENDS IN LUHANSK! 🇺🇦 Слава Україні!🇺🇦 2d ago

Yep, the entire city:

Salisbury declared decontaminated after Novichok poisoning

Military personnel spent 13,000 hours on the clean-up after the nerve agent attack on 4 March 2018.

An estimated 600 to 800 specially trained military personnel, including the chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear regiment, were involved in the clean-up.

1

u/Anglo-Euro-0891 19h ago

Actually it was one British citizen (only foreigners use "Brits), who died. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poisoning_of_Sergei_and_Yulia_Skripal

‘Uhm it was a little love bombing’ - Lavrov

14

u/leorolim 2d ago

According to Ruzzian propaganda I saw on fb they bombed a drone company nearby. EU delegation was bonus.

26

u/Vexonte United States of America 2d ago

General rule of Propaganda, if you think it is stupid or blatant BS, you are not the intended target.

13

u/SlightScar8855 2d ago

The people that the propaganda campaign appeals to, think that's a good thing somehow.

5

u/Tachetoche 2d ago

And have been cutting our internet cables. Push for social unrest by paying people to stir shit (people paid by russia for antisemitic attacks in France, etc). Also, they arsoned factories and warehouses. Tried to assassinate the Rheinmetal CEO.

Yes, Russia is our enemy. Not because we want them to be, but because they act as such.

1

u/emjayem22 1d ago

Exactly.. it's entirely their choice.. they and their behaviour is stuck 30 or 40 years in the past. If it wasn't then nobody in Europe would really care about them that much. It's only because they can't help themselves when it comes to interference that relations have become so bad.

I wonder if the east vs west sentiment is so deeply ingrained that they will ever see it doesn't really matter anymore and hasn't for 30 years.

"Quick! Go look at Gaza and forget about Ukraine again!" - malicious botniks

2

u/Bright_Ad_7496 2d ago

Yes, but it was a friendly bomb.

2

u/Strange-Tension6589 USA 2d ago

Why did EU build their delegations in Russia's bombing areas?

/s

2

u/yankdevil Ireland (50%) US (50%) 2d ago

It was a love bomb. With explody hugs. And shrapenel kisses.

2

u/North-Outside-5815 2d ago

They are absolutely my enemy. Come at me comrade Putler.

1

u/bxuma-8888 2d ago

Relax guyyy, it's just minimal bombing.

1

u/Elegant_Increase9319 France 2d ago

Relax, Guy. What is a little bombing?

1

u/AnotherAndrei 2d ago

Stupid people don't know these things

1

u/AdmiralBKE 2d ago

Feeling that that bombing and the propaganda effort means Russia is truly hurting.

1

u/florinandrei Europe 2d ago

Didn't they bomb an EU delegation yesterday?

But not as an enemy. /s

1

u/silverionmox Limburg 2d ago

Didn't they bomb an EU delegation yesterday?

Obviously, that's how Russia treats its friends. Its enemies get ice cream.

1

u/Common-Ad6470 2d ago

Novachok Salisbury and the polonium tea in London enter the chat and wave…👍

1

u/Pulga_Atomica 2d ago

It was not bomb, it was food baskets.

1

u/Alert-Emu-857 2d ago

It was a welcome party

"The EU's diplomatic mission and nearby British Council were hit in central Kyiv. In a strongly worded statement, von der Leyen said Russian missiles struck close to the EU office"

Way to go VDL! That'll show them!

My bad sorry. I had bad encounters on reddit

You seem to have missed the irony.

I think most peoole who post here are related to Queen Ursula von der Leyen who is in turn related to the Ladson family who once owned an awful lot of slaves in America

[Edit] Getting downvoted by EU interns not understanding they have now been enslaved by von der Leyen and her cronies lmfao Tax burden go up. Inflation go up. Purchasing power go down. Doubleplusgood!

7

u/Suboxs 2d ago

Not many people in Europe are thinking she is competent or a good person, especially in Germany (where she lives)

-11

u/notregular 2d ago

The EU is a bigger threat for Europeans.

-8

u/iiBroken 2d ago

You think Europeans care about EU diplomats, i.e. eurocrats?
