If you can, consider donating to Ukraine’s Sky Sentinel campaign, these turrets are designed to shoot down Russia’s kamikaze drones and protect Ukraine’s cities.

If someone is reading this, i'd like to ask you to reconsider, and donate to "Come Back Alive" instead. Paid influencers, cartoons and promises from United24 are great and all, but it's better to choose the older, non-governmental org that is down to earth.

why?

  • Exceptional track record and reputation
  • Always going for best bang for the buck
  • Extensive research into actual needs and real bottlenecks (which often are not very flashy things)
  • They work directly with the best, most combat-effective units
  • Full transparency for donation accumulation and expenditure (delayed in time for more secretive/sensitive projects)

Ukrainian government is heavily corrupt and majority of donation sites like these go straight into the pockets of the rich guys running it.

I wanted to ask for sources, but I’m sure it’s just “trust me bro”.

Already assuming you won? Impressive narcissism you got there. Zelensky tried to curb the NABU their anti corruption agency a month ago and failed due to mass protests. And now literally a day ago, they are now investigating a company that has ties to one of Zelensky oligarch friends Mindich. Keep in mind, the former head of NABU is still charged with treason after investigating stuff related to Zelensky friends. It’s very clear to have doubts on anything related to the government.

The comment above is right. Come back alive is legit as well and is not connected to the government.

Aight, great Assumption. Ukraine was sadly corrupt before the war started and it continued into the war obviously. There are dozens of accounts bout how Bad corruption was before: Explainer: How Ukraine’s History Shaped Its Current Corruption Challenges

And honestly hundreds of reputable articles&News station reporting incidents about how the corrupt elite/corrupt government is using this war to their advantage sadly. But to know that you‘d have to google and read stuff for 3 mins instead of assuming lmao. Ukrainians concerned about corruption as donors pledge billions to rebuild the country

Typical. Asked for sources and got them only to get downvoted.

So sources that demonstrate that Ukranians are conserned with corruption, that EU is concerned with the risk of corruption and that the Ukraine government is clamping down on corruption.   All is fine as I see it.

lets just put it like that, if people donate, they reach their target goal, and then still dont have the money, its on them. Right now money for personal gain should be least of their prioritises if they still want to have a country where to spend them.

2

u/wojtekpolska Poland 1d ago

they will just spend it abroad. some already have spent it on propeties in western europe

u/xPixiKatx 1d ago

If they are fine with their country going to hell, i guess it cant be helped

2

u/wojtekpolska Poland 1d ago

thats corruption for you.

whats worst is prople try to deny it, usually not people from ukraine either. ukrainians know how corrupt their government is, just like a week ago the UA government attempted to destroy their independent anti corruption mechanism, they only backed down after extreme backlash from the ukrainian population, the ukrainian people know they have to keep eyes on their government.

The headline right now on the "Come Back Alive" site is them working with the Ukrainian Ministry of Health. It reads as of this post ""Come Back Alive" and the Ministry of Health Have Signed Partnership Memorandum" (can Google this later if it changes).

So is it really true the corruption is still so deep in Ukraine that we should avoid all donations linked in any way to government? Which would mean we should also avoid "Come Back Alive" now?

I really don't want to be dissuaded from donating, already gave a lot to U24, but I want to donate to places that actually make a difference!

"Apolitical organisation works together with some parts of government, specifically on cases regarding veterans" is not the same as "organisation owned by the government, works for the government, spends half the time praising the government". U24 are not that bad or anything, they serve certain purpose, and even on some cases work together with other foundations, including CBA. I'm just saying that by donating to CBA, a higher percentage of your money has a chance of actually making it to army, on useful applications. Instead of almighty Palyanitsya "rocket-drones" (a.k.a your everyday reactive drones) or 123456km intercontinental missiles that can make to a Jupiter (but not Mariupol or Bilhorod of course), you'll support humble, but more real equipment and inventions.

Ok thank you. This helped a lot.

I see you're in Kharkiv, I wish you the very best and more of us are with you than not. Thank you for defending Europe and freedom, we owe you more than a few $ in donations.

I use a different route. Like going around you asshole to get to your elbow sort of deal. But I donate to my buddy using OF lmfao. Atleast I know the money is going to the right place. They are close enough to the front, but not on it? They seem to think it is a good way and can access the funds, so we just keep doing the same thing and it keeps both of us mostly anonymous. Then they can take those funds and spread them around when they buy food and water and nick-nacks. Everytime they have to go to the bomb shelter I tell them to bring extra water lol

u/xPixiKatx 1d ago

you mean only fans? you know that goes against their tos right?

1

u/Striking-Ad-6815 1d ago

you know that goes against their tos right?

I just reviewed the [OF TOS](Tried to link the OF TOS, but Auto-mod got me) and have no clue what you're talking about

If I want to give someone money for no reason, there is no problem

My buddy isn't requesting the funds, I am just relinquishing them

EDIT: if this is a duplicate post I'm sorry

You cannot use their platform as a money wire solution, to avoid laundering. You risk them freezing the money if they catch up to it

I see

I'll make sure to get some voluptuous cankle pics in return

Mate you need to do more research. If she only sends content to you then it will be quite obvious what you two are doing.
