Why does the year matter? It's awful, but this stuff will continue to happen a thousand years from now on too.

Homicides rates have fallen greatly over the years. It's weak minded apathy and greed that allows this to continue. If people stood by principle we'd be doing a lot better. The trend is there, let's hope it just needs time to succeed.

Because we're not fucking cavemen anymore and have education and world wide communication? But we can't problem solve we have 12 year olds running our countries throwing temper tantrums.

We don't have 12 year olds, we have adults. And these adults do not have the same values as you. You're the one who needs to grow up and realize that humanity is not a robot with a hive mind. So unless you want to lobotomize all of humanity, yourself included, then actually get in your politicians' faces and demand stronger military and economic action against Russia.
