All she knew was war. That’s so tragic.

God forbid a man says something about other conflicts and not Gaza

It's almost like there's an ongoing genocide which many people from Europe support. Please, only feel bad about a Ukrainian kid being killed, not the tens of children in Gaza getting killed daily.

My humanity is in not siding with a literal genocidal Islamic terrorist organization...

No, my humanity is siding with Israel fighting a defensive war against a genocidal Islamic terrorist organization.

Hamas didn't murder 17k innocent children. But thanks for proving my point.

Source? Do I need to remind you that Palestine was occupied on Oct 6th? This is like saying that Ukraine started the war by shelling the Donbass. And they could've just accepted unfair Russian peace offers.

Russian and Israeli supporters have so much in common...

7

u/Stix147 Romania 6d ago

This is not comparable to the Donbas shelling propaganda, but it'd be more comparable to how when Ukraine was already under partial occupation in 2023, when they launched the Kursk offensive into Russia, they would've just indiscriminately murdered hundreds of Russian civilians and also taken some hostages. That obviously didn't happen, in fact Ukraine acted very fair towards those Russians, despite the war, despite the genocide, despite the hundreds of years long brutal history between Ukraine and Russia.

I'm not pro-Israel, I think their conduct is terrible and they engage in a huge number of war crimes and I think it could be argued that what they're doing is genocide (especially with the starvation tactic), but the actions of Hamas are not justified and they're a terrorist organization.

Palestine was occupied on Oct 6th?

How many Israelis were there in Gaza on October 6th?

They don't, this is an assumption

2

u/tablakapatarei 6d ago

Because Israel didn't allow them to. That's why we need to support Israel.

2

u/Federal_Thanks7596 Czech Republic 6d ago

We need to support the illegal Israeli occupation and genocide because they have a superior army?

Why did the army with perhaps the best inteligence in the world allowed a bunch of fighters with AKs to breach their blockade and kill people for hours anyway?

4

u/tablakapatarei 6d ago

I wouldn't say that the Israeli occupation of a territory formerly run by a genocidal terrorist organization is illegal.

0

u/Federal_Thanks7596 Czech Republic 6d ago

Luckily that's not up to you to decide, that's why the international law exists.

Why wasn't Israel able to stop Oct 7th from happening?

3

u/tablakapatarei 6d ago

It is absolutely not against international law to occupy your enemy's territory if they refuse to end their aggression against you...

Basically what you are saying that the Allied occupation of Germany was illegal at the end of WW2?

Yes, since this is not a context.

-15

u/ValeteAria 6d ago

What you can only think of Gaza's children dying in a certain context and Ukranian children in other context?

Makes no sense to me. The only reason people get upset when you mention other kids is because they simply dont value them the same.

Can you give someone else 5 fucking minutes. This post is about a specific situation. Can you not have compassion for something you are not interested in clearly?

Because the parents of this little girl did not cross the border to Russia, kidnaped and murdered kids and paraded them in the middle of the street while the whole neighbourhood celebrated?

8

u/ModenaR 6d ago

Who said that i don't? I get what you're doing, you're acting like a fool on purpose to make it seem like all pro-palestine are idiots. Israel is committing war crimes, you aren't fooling anybody

I have sympathy for kids in Gaza and so does everyone I know HOWEVER when I see a video about children in Gaza I don't comment "but what about kids in Ukraine" and you shouldn't comment "but what about kids in Gaza" under this topic. It's trying to grab attention to kids in Gaza at the expense of kids in Ukraine.

HOWEVER when I see a video about children in Gaza I don't comment "but what about kids in Ukraine"

Maybe we all should start, since there is no single post on Ukraine that they don't crossover.

1

u/Awesome_guy5567 6d ago

I think you are right.Maybe we should start to spam "what about Ukraine" under all posts about Gaza and see their reaction.I think they ain't going to like that

I just wrote to some that acted as if Ukraine is the only war battle where kids die.

Wild that that’s what you got from my “All she knew was war. That’s so tragic.” comment.

Says a lot about..?

u/EvilMonkeySlayer United Kingdom 6d ago

This is a Europe focused subreddit and this is a post about Ukraine. There are plenty of other places you can talk about that in.

u/EvilMonkeySlayer United Kingdom 6d ago

It's entirely off topic and has zero to do with anything Europe.

Where a post has relevance to Europe it's allowed, what are not allowed are posts that have nothing to do with the original post and have no relevance to Europe as per the subreddits rules.

If you don't like that there's plenty of other subreddits you can post in.

Again, the subreddit rules are extraordinary clear on this. Doing drive-by posts that have no relevance to the topic at hand or Europe are not allowed. I suggest you try a different subreddit.

That's six degrees of separation logic where all of a sudden you can post about Gaza about anything in the Europe subreddit.

It's silly logic.

The rules allow for posts about that topic when it's something related to Europe, such as a European politician saying something related to that region, European sanctions etc etc.

Again, you have been informed what the rules are. Please take it elsewhere.
