I see tons of unlawful behaviour from the police. At 1:30, police are pushing the protesters though it's obvious they can't move faster.

This may cause a panic and must be avoided, especially as minors can be seen in the crowd (e.g. at 0:40, gets violently pushed as well).

Here we can see the policeman acts without reason: https://youtu.be/8SUln5weESQ?feature=shared&t=92

This guy is clearly unfit for his job and needs to be removed.

Though the real problem is Berlin's mayor.

Well, just fucking move then. Not that hard.

Unless of cause you are seeking the conflict by protesting in front of private small business owners. Then what will be, will be.

Police are here to protect society and taxpayers, not you as an individual.

How exactly is this protecting anyone?

It's making sure that this person doesn't continue to annoy everyone around them that just want to move on with their day.

Use of violence "Marked safe from... annoyance "

It's obvious they repeatedly didn't listen to verbal commands. Why do you act as if they got beaten up out of the blue?

Proportional response?

Yeah I agree they should just have arrested them, but well.

So we can agree

Excessive use of force requires punishment

Disruption is the point of a protest.

If you want to make everyone else not support your points, sure go ahead and disrupt the life of average citizens and not the ones responsible.

Then you are literally not able to protest anymore. There will always be disruption of the average citizen. How do you think protesting works?

I’m glad that police is using brutal force to stop people from annoying others by protesting genocide.

I'm glad we agree buddy

Police are here to beat the shit out of protestors and dissenters. I guess I expect that kind of behaviour in Russia, Turkey, and Belarus, not in a democratic country with the rule of law.

So many boot lickers in this subreddit

"despite repeated orders” to leave the area, O’Brien “refused to comply and insulted verbally and offended physically, several police officers. There is clear evidence for verbal insults shouted by this individual, ranging from calling officers ‘genocide supporters’, ‘f\*king Nazis’ and ‘you should be ashamed of yourselves – there are babies starving’ among many more statements made.*"

Watch the video, the statement makes no sense.

Police is pushing the protestors despite they can't go faster as the place is crowded.

There is clear evidence for verbal insults shouted by this individual, ranging from calling officers [...] ‘f\*king Nazis’*

Given officers later punched her without physical threats, rather than a insult it was a factual statement.

and ‘you should be ashamed of yourselves – there are babies starving’

Very insulting indeed.
