Of you assault somebody, because he called you names, you will go to jail for battery. Why do we hold police to a lower standard than regular civilians?

Did I say we need to hold police to lower standard? Why are y'all reading stuff that no-one wrote?

Yes. And if you can't protest without seeking fights with the police officers, you should stay the fuck at home or deal with the consequences.

Commenting this under a post about police beating protestors for calling them Nazis, implies the action of the police are justified or at least should've been expected. And in fact you shouldn't expect somebody to physically beat you when called a mean thing, the same way beating somebody for calling you a dick is unreasonable.

No, it does not mean it was justified in the slightest. But it does mean it should be expected that out of a group of ~100 cops, there might be one who will do unreasonable things. Y'all love calling cops the B word, but then you're acting all surprised when a B word does a bad thing? Yeah no give me a break.

And we're not just talking about saying a bad word once. We're talking about her repeatedly refusing to move away, repeatedly insulting, repeatedly moving towards the cops while continuing to insult and engaging in the physical altercation. That's literally asking for it at that point.

If he is such a snowflake who isn't capable to handle the mean B word, then he needs to get suspended from the police force. At least temporarily so that he can learn from his mistake.
