What would be the end game of him resigning anyway ? Who would be the front-runners ? Bardella, Mélenchon, Retailleau ? A far-right pro-Russian, a left-wing pro-Russian or a Christo-fascist. Good, we would be wrecked in any case.

If only he could stop being so stubborn and finally admit that his economic policy has failed and that he needs to compromise with the other republican parties of the Assembly.

At least they managed to get rid of Le Pen....

It's something, I guess...

Also why the fuck are all leftists pro-Russian? Doesn't the left-spectrum have more than enough shit they could campaign with?!

Also why the fuck are all leftists pro-Russian?

Not all of them. The pro-russian is a minority within the left (it is only France Unbowed). The Green and the Socialists are pro-european, but they don't perform well at the presidential election. (for various reason having to do with the difficulty of winning with 4 different left-wing candidates and 2 others from the far-left)

A fellow French citizen who lets the cat out of the bag. You forget to mention that the "Socialists" (the left that has compromised itself with economic liberalism; compatible with Macronism since the ranks of Macronists are full of them) saved the government at the beginning of the year, gave birth to Macron, and betrayed its electoral base during Hollande's presidential term which completely destroyed the party. They are a minority, contrary to what you say about the "France Unbowed" whom you easily summarize as good, bad, or not very good beyond the actual discourse because it's simpler that way, isn't it?

Appreciate reality for what it is, and stop making our European colleagues believe that the Greens have a chance too: it is a union party that is content to spout left-wing platitudes without ever proposing a program or measures. If Tondelier didn't know how to flood the media with her constant jokes, the Greens wouldn't even be heard.

All left-wing parties with any influence in France are pro-European. Except that some do not support its only real project for now: a liberal market economy in Europe (and that's about it).

They [the Socialists] are a minority, contrary to what you say about the "France Unbowed"

I didn't say that the Socialist were the majority, I said that the pro-russian stance from France Unbowed was the minority. And indeed, they have only 37% of the NFP seats in the Assembly.

Appreciate reality for what it is, and stop making our European colleagues believe that the Greens have a chance

I litteraly explained the contrary when I stated that they "don't perform well at the presidential election"

All left-wing parties with any influence in France are pro-European.

I would say that France Unbowed has some influence unfortunately, but except for that, yes, that's what I said.
