The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

The UK is the second most populous state in the EU. Famous for once being the worlds leading power, reigning over a large empire, it has recently taken the decision to exit the EU.

It's true. We litter a lot. Our country can be really disgusting in that regard. I have no idea why people here are more likely to just throw their crap anywhere they want but it's fucking irritating.

Imo it's more prevalent outside of London. I'm not sure if Londoners are more considerate or they have better cleaners or what, but up here in Newcastle litter is a big problem on the highstreets.

In Leeds it varies. Some areas are really clean - spotless, even. But other areas are quite dirty. Pretty much the nice areas tend to be clean and the poor areas tend to be dirty. I think it just reflects the people living there. The area I live in isn't dirty, but you'll still see the occasional bottle or McDonald's wrapper on the side of a busy road.

The city centre is much cleaner than most suburbs in my experience.

Yeah as another person in Leeds I agree. My area is a mainly council area but my actual street is nice and quite clean. But Except for one household who throw all of their litter in their garden and it all ends up getting blown into everyone's gardens. It's a disgrace.
