What do you know about... Ukraine?

This is the eleventh part of our ongoing series about the countries of Europe. You can find an overview here.

Todays country:

Ukraine

Ukraine is the largest country that is completely on the european continent. The Ungarian people's republic was founded in 1917, the ukrainian state in 1918. It later became part of the soviet union and finally got independent in 1991. Currently, Ukraine is facing military combat with russia-backed rebels and the crimean peninsula was completely annexed by Russia. Ukraine will host the next eurovision song contest.

So, what do you know about Ukraine?

can confirm

good relationship partly comes from how Serbs treated them and how they dealt with Serbs.

Like us with Russians.

Like us with Russians.

Kek. If you really want to go this way small Croatia ( 4 million people ) had 130k active frontline soldiers for Operation Storm against Serbs in Krajina ( who mobilized some 60k people too from a base of a mere half a million people there, more than the whole Donbass army which had a manpool of around 4 million people ) in 1995 and finished with them in 3 days.

Ukraine's been fighting in Donbass against separatists and at best 20-30k Russian soldiers, and never had more than 150k people in its armed forces. Out of 40 million, after several mobilizations. Not even in the same league as Croatia.

If you really want to go that way, main part of Krajina didn't border Serbija but "DPR" has a huge chunk of border with Russia. I bet you'd have much less luck if serbs from Krajina could get constant reinforcements and weapons supply from mainland Serbia. This is why Croatian army didn't even try to attack the eastern part of "RSK" (Vukovar, etc.).

tl;dr Krajina should be compared to Transnistria, rather than "DPR".

P.S. BTW, Bosnians helped you to defeat serbs.

I might be a troll, at least I am not from the shithole called Okr

And why are you insulting entire countries that have done nothing wrong with your country.
Do you know that in civilized countries so it is not accepted?
Are you so ashamed to say where are you from?
Who are you by profession, it is always interesting to know the background of the interlocutor.

You hadn't asked me where I am from previously and why would I be ashamed of where I am from, after all I am not from Ukraine though I lived there for some time. You are insulting other countries by calling your shithole a country.

Well, as a citizen of what country you are, I promise I will not laugh.

Why are you so shy?
Do you know that it is not necessary to be shit? You can always become a balanced law-abiding citizen. All people are the same and the countries are equally respected.

Stop being embarrassed about your place of residence.

This is your point of view, I respect it but do not share it. If I agree with her, then both of us will be wrong.

Why do you think that insulting people and people on the Internet will solve your problems at work and in your personal life?
