Ukraine

Ukraine is the largest country that is completely on the european continent. The Ungarian people's republic was founded in 1917, the ukrainian state in 1918. It later became part of the soviet union and finally got independent in 1991. Currently, Ukraine is facing military combat with russia-backed rebels and the crimean peninsula was completely annexed by Russia. Ukraine will host the next eurovision song contest.

So, what do you know about Ukraine?

No, it isn't like that.

Odessa and Kharkov are both Russian speaking cities, transliterating their Russian names makes sense. Making a big deal about this is divisive and silly.

You are a troll. In the translation of geographical names, nothing matters except its name in the state language. In the case of Ukarina, this is the Ukrainian language. It is Russian propaganda that appeals to the alleged majority of the Russian-speaking population in the east of Ukraine. But this is a lie. All Ukrainians are bilingual. The western part knows Polish. The eastern part knows Russian.

Even thousands of deaths in Ukraine during the occupation of part of its territory by Russia did not affect the replication of Russian propaganda. Shame on you.

And for the record, I fully support Ukraine in their opposition to Russian interference in their territory and issues. But that has nothing to do with anything I said, despite your ramblings trying to suggest otherwise.

False. You're a troll. You retell the Russian propaganda. You bring it as a justification for the translation of the geographical name from the language of the invader.

I can not believe that you are an idiot who offers a Ukrainian to Kyiv, in English, to be called using the name (pronunciation) of Moscow propaganda.
Moscow which was founded 665 years after the foundation of Kiev. Or are you always an idiot, because the accusation of me as a russian-speaking Ukrainian in fundamentalism (the first time I hear such an appeal to a Ukrainian) does not leave this in doubt?

In the Russian-language reddite, such trolls like you too can not withstand a reasoned discussion.
If you are still just a person who has not figured out the issue, do not write off his point of view so without appealing. There is a war in my country. Russia kills dozens of people every month.
