What do you know about... Ukraine?

This is the eleventh part of our ongoing series about the countries of Europe. You can find an overview here.

Todays country:

Ukraine

Ukraine is the largest country that is completely on the european continent. The Ungarian people's republic was founded in 1917, the ukrainian state in 1918. It later became part of the soviet union and finally got independent in 1991. Currently, Ukraine is facing military combat with russia-backed rebels and the crimean peninsula was completely annexed by Russia. Ukraine will host the next eurovision song contest.

So, what do you know about Ukraine?

And why are you insulting entire countries that have done nothing wrong with your country.
Do you know that in civilized countries so it is not accepted?
Are you so ashamed to say where are you from?
Who are you by profession, it is always interesting to know the background of the interlocutor.

You hadn't asked me where I am from previously and why would I be ashamed of where I am from, after all I am not from Ukraine though I lived there for some time. You are insulting other countries by calling your shithole a country.

Well, as a citizen of what country you are, I promise I will not laugh.

Why are you so shy?
Do you know that it is not necessary to be shit? You can always become a balanced law-abiding citizen. All people are the same and the countries are equally respected.

Stop being embarrassed about your place of residence.
