Brothers in potato, alcoholism and faith ;)

Got very popular in Poland after Euro 2012. Many of our émigreés also choose to live there. Hope they're not too much of a nuisance!

I never met a Polish person I didn't like. A lovely addition to our country. :)

To be fair whenever there's an international football tournament, the Irish fans always behave in the most friendly and respectful way, as opposed to say, the English fans ;)

Before the crash we had so many poles that we were in the process of making Polish our third official language. We were planning to add the language to national road signs and place names and everything. But then the crash happened and a lot of Poles left, so we didn't.

There's still the same amount of Poles here.

Considering Polish doesn't have special names for Irish cities...

No, we learned it in school. It's true.

You learned Polish in school?

Oh no, sorry we just learned the fact about the road signs. Our geography teacher mentioned it in 5th year (age 17).

That would be strange because we don't have our own names for Irish places - we use the English ones.

On roadsigns? No, both languages are on there.
