the way his "fans" (teenage girls) have been acting in the tiktok comments of his boyfriends and his videos is so weird, they genuinely believe they know kyle personally and know what's best for him, it must be so frustrating being a 19 year old exploring ur sexuality and showcasing a new relationship and having a 14 year old on tiktok tell you your insanely hot boyfriend is using you for fame 😭😭
Did you see the TikTok his boyfriend posted where a fan left a plushie thing of him proposing to Kyle on the door handle of where he lives/is staying? Absolute madness.
Also Kyle is literally still very young and like he said, it's a very new thing for him and I wish people would have better boundaries (though I'm a grown adult and these stans are literal children so it may take some time for them to learn that). This might be more of a thing in the US and Canada but a lot of younger male pop stars, actors, etc may get forced to stay in the closet so their fanbase doesn't turn on them (which is very outdated at this point but sadly I'm sure it still happens) and I'm very proud of him for just being Kyle, especially when his career is starting to take off more.
One of the comments i saw on twitter that some people on tiktok said that he should be asexual cause for them it is “not right” to have a like relationship etc 😭 i was like wtf
Yup. He was never really as closeted as people thought. Or at least, he was fine saying he was "open to any gender", at least in Norwegian interviews. Don't think he mentioned that in English, but hey, that's one Google Translate away. He just didn't have the experience. Go figure, being a teenager in a small town where he seemingly had mostly female friends anyway. Happy for him that he's fully, unambiguously open in his queerness now tho.
I feel like we should give LGBT people the right to come out on their own terms because being openly queer still is not safe everywhere in the world and you don't know them personally🤷
He was single. There was some speculation on if he and Lavrans Svendsen (who was in the line-up but dropped out last second) were together, but Kyle shut that down like Jon Taffer and said "We're friends. Period.".
