Bhutan's "Eurovision Asia" videos were already in "private" or deleted. I can't find them anymore in their official Facebook and YouTube accounts.

Probably they revealed things too soon and realized only after it has been a source of information for a lot of news on the internet :v

That's kinda sad tbh. I was actually looking forward to the final tomorrow. I guess at this point we don't know for sure that it's not happening but everything being deleted/privated is not exactly a good sign, right?

I do hope it's just been miscommunication in the "no not yet, wait til the 1st of September" way rather than the "didn't you hear we cancelled this years ago, sorry" way?

Is Vietnam's TV listing for the 31st still up?

It's still there, though just as Eurovision

What time would it be in Europe when it happens? Would the timezones align to where it makes it September 1st in the EBU timezone?

They'll follow their local time, like how it's being done in Europe.

Vietnam, Jakarta & Bangkok time is GMT +7, 6 hrs ahead in CET, 5 hrs in London (BST).

Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, HK, Taiwan, Philippines, China: GMT +8

Reminder: Eurovision does a lot of programming that isn't a Song Contest.

Surely they can't have just randomly started organising it years after cancellation

So if only one country competes does that mean Bhutan is the winner of the inaugural Eurovision Asia?

I hope they succeed. If not, I guess it’s time to bid farewell to the short-lived Eurovision Asia. :(

However, in first few minutes of Episode 4 (uploaded last Tuesday), the hosts mentioned something about Eurovision Asia and the "runner-up" goes to ABU TV Song Festival in Mongolia scheduled in September 12. I couldn't watch it again since all videos about Eurovision Asia were deleted/private mode.

They're privated. Not deleted thankfully

The videos on TikTok have disappeared too, however the voting page is currently still active (https://drukvote.com/shows/f43768dmthyo7ii)

This is peak iceberg material.

This year's iceberg could end global warming

Btw, BBS PROGRAMME is where they originally uploaded their NF on YouTube, not Bhutan Broadcasting Service.

Eurovision Asia videos were deleted and/or in private mode too. The latest is about Bhutan's Got Talent.

This whole fiasco feels like something that would happen in one of my weird dreams

Bhutan should get an invite to the 70th edition because of their enthusiasm
