It doesn't matter what you advocate for, or what you believe in. Even if what you say is true, which I highly doubt. Being an asshole and treating other people like dirt is everyone's God given right. But the fact that we can choose to be respectful to others is what makes us better. His death does not solve anything, quite the opposite, there will be more like him.
He called the stoning of gay people in leviticus (leviticus never even says anything about stoning gay people so im not sure why he acted like it did) gods perfect law when concerning sexual matters.

In context, he cited the Old Testament punishment for homosexuality approvingly.

That’s actually not funny at all. He had a wife, kids, fans, and more family. He might have not been the best human to ever walk the earth but he was extremely far from the worst. No one would be killed for their political opinions.
I never liked Kirk. In fact I hated the guy. He was a POS and he said some incredibly heinous and horrible stuff. But damn, he didn’t deserve to go out like that! Let’s stand against people like him, but let’s do it without sinking to that level. I do not like the idea of my own political views to be represented by murderers.
I think it is because it’s a death of a man, a man with a family. I don’t think his wife or kids would want people on the internet pissing on his grave. I understand now having empathy for him but what about his family? Have empathy for them
This has nothing to do with his political views whatsoever. The brutal video of him getting shot, and all the blood, reminded me of a scene from Evangelion. Is it disrespectful? Maybe. Did right-wingers make fun of the deaths of leftists? Yes. And you know what? They have families too.
I’m not justifying any sides, I just find that the rampant memes about his death to be disheartening, on r/lazerpig there’s a lot who are justifying it, I don’t think anyone should be making fun of someone’s death right after they died.
Not soon enough. Making fun of a dead fascist isn’t distasteful, it’s obligatory. But to paraphrase his own words „Charlie Kirk had to die for the continuation of the second amendment to live“.
