I think it is because it’s a death of a man, a man with a family. I don’t think his wife or kids would want people on the internet pissing on his grave. I understand now having empathy for him but what about his family? Have empathy for them
This has nothing to do with his political views whatsoever. The brutal video of him getting shot, and all the blood, reminded me of a scene from Evangelion. Is it disrespectful? Maybe. Did right-wingers make fun of the deaths of leftists? Yes. And you know what? They have families too.
I’m not justifying any sides, I just find that the rampant memes about his death to be disheartening, on r/lazerpig there’s a lot who are justifying it, I don’t think anyone should be making fun of someone’s death right after they died.
