Discussion What is so great about Chick-fil-A???

I travel 100% for my job. I travel all over the USA. I have been all over the East coast, West coast, Southeast and Midwest and every Chick-Fil-A i pass is packed with cars, Cars lined up in the drive-thru. What is so great about this place? I have had it a few times and don't see what is so great that people line up to buy it.

I usually ask the same question as OP about Cane's. Don't really understand what's so great about it.

Canes has been bland every time I tried it, so I stick to another more popular local chain that actually seasons the fingers they serve

Canes and Zaxby's are both bland and depend on sauces.

Wingstop and Popeyes are fantastic.

Culver's and Carl's Jr are sleepers.

Church's is overrated.

The rest are varying degrees of OK.

I don't expect much from white meat chicken, tho.

The random chicken places in gas stations are always the best.

The Culver’s buffalo tenders are surprisingly very good

I think Culver's is probably the best fast food place. I mean who serves not only a pot roast sandwich, but a damn good one?

Culver's is GOAT for having killer pot roast. It's probably my most-ordered item.

Speaking of Church's... I don't think I've heard anyone say anything good about the chain for at least a decade now.

I had Walmart deli fried chicken for the first time in years yesterday. It was...keyword fresh...and TBH better than popeyes.

Gas station Krispy Krunchy has always been a favorite too and it's a Louisiana company I think.

I always see a Krispy Krunchy in the Chicago burbs and I've always wondered. Might have to try it now.

Very very fast lines in the drive thru, very consistent where you know what you are getting each time. I think this matters a lot to people in a quick jam to get some food on their breaks.

People value consistency and fresh food.

It's better than Zaxby's.

Strongly disagree, their menu has basically one item, which is maybe slightly better than zaxbys, but vastly better overshadowed by the lack of choices.

I’ll take consistency over options

Small menu, consistent, fast, best value in fried chicken hands down. Like, pound for pound, I can't beat their prices and cook times in my own kitchen making everything from scratch.

They absolutely own the process.

Oh and the secret ingredient is MSG. My estimate is that MSG has got to be like 20% of the weight of their batter mix and then the sauce is loaded with it, too. Not surprising, but goddamn is their stuff flooded with it.

Cane's sauce is awesome, the toast is killer, the chicken is always very tender, and the thinner breading is a great change of pace from the usual thick bois everywhere else.

I like Cane's chicken strips, we get them sometimes, but its sad they don't have hot sauce so we never eat there, always to go.

Cane's has hot sauce, you just have to ask for it.
