Copies of my resume? Notebook and pen? Anything?

Always bring copies of resume, and bring writing paper and a pen to take notes of who’s interviewing. Be prepared to ask 2-5 questions about the district and the culture. Dress to impress!

I’m wondering if I should change my resume because I’m currently an EMT and just got promoted to an FTO at my company but I haven’t and won’t have had any trainees yet by the time I get to my interview

Does the district you’re applying for provide EMS and Transport? It wouldn’t hurt I don’t think.

They do provide EMS but they don’t transport. I currently work for the only 911 EMS provider in area and we use fire primarily as support for us and will have them jump in our unit to provide extra hands, been planning to use this as a point in my interview knowing fires role in our system and that I would know how to be of best assistance when commandeered by medics, also I have a good relationship with a lot of our local medics
