Nice fly and nice photo. Do you use a backer board for taking the picture? I like how the fly pops

I use my computer monitor with a solid bg from adobe illustrator so I can match the bg to the fly :)

That's a great idea about using the monitor. Hadn't thought of that. If I were to take a picture you'd see a bunch of tying material and other mess. 😉

I tie at my work desk so the monitor was close by😁

I could NEVER take a picture that shows the mess on the desk, way too embarrassing. Cleaned it a couple of days ago, now I have a hard time finding tools again 😅

White floss as underbody, 4mm golden olive body stretch wrapped over the floss.

Partridge hackle and brown SLF dubbing :)
