How is this guy so cocky, yet literally does nothing most of the time? I mean I get Bwipo trashtalking, because he frequently impacts the game and carries, but Oscarinin? Like cmon man, why does he atleast not fucking scream into Grabbz ears, as he is being picked Renekton, that he is literally not able to play the champ?! MY GUY HAS A 26% WINRATE ON THE CHAMP, IF YOU COUNT THIS LOSS. 26% BRO. AND WE PICK IT IN A WORLDS-DECIDING BO5 :DDD
This is not a diss to the coaches, I have no intention of spreading hate or calling for changes just genuinely want to understand what is the thought process behind drafting.
Before I bring about the negatives from yesterday's game I want to highlight how good the draft comp was for the 4th game. In a region incapable of snowballing, we played a front to back scaling comp that felt strong even when we were 5k gold down. Simple to execute and it played into all of our win conditions which being:
1)Poby on a strong laning/scaling champ. As bad as his games were on annie and LB, his laning in all the other 3 games were really decent. I believe as a player he is someone who likes to be able to farm well, scale, be in charge of his lane and fight late. Then why do we keep putting him on champs that find it harder to farm, push sides and demands him to focus on trying to engage rather than farming and scaling? Why are we so obsessed with playing the meta we keep putting him on champs that dont bring out his strengths? Also Him being in a pushing lane allows razork to be more active on the map. We brought on Poby to be the consistency we lacked with humanoid. Then why the f are we so bent on him playing stupid champs like annie and LB? Just stick him on any late scaling farm heavy mid and our macro as a team is 10000x better. I can see it why cant the coaches?
2) Another instance of not considering the player when drafting is that stupid renekton pick. Renekton is a very good and strong champ but anybody who saw the summer finals last year knows that Oscar absolutely cannot play this champ. I refuse to believe with the absolute amount of data available to the coaches (his 26%wr) and the vods of his renekton, they believe its the right pic for a game 5 worlds qualifier for oscar. Should he be able to play the champ? Yes. Can he play the champ? No. After a point you cant even blame oscar for it because if you enable him to pick it again and again despite knowing how he plays it, you should not be drafting it. I would much rather have oscar learning more tanks like mundo that enable upset to last longer in team fights. Blame oscar all you want but making him renekton or forcing him to play akali as gwen will lose you the game everytime.
3) Again just like poby, with how consistent upset is in lane, I think having him on hyper carries with urgency is always a good idea. As good as his ezreal maybe, priortizing hypercarries with urgency on him make it a really good wincon for us. Also i am hoping either miky or upset wanted that maokai sup pick else that entire flex was such a troll for the team. You have to be playing for your best players, the people who will give you the maximum chance of winning in that game. I genuinely believe if we had maokai jungle and bard/enchanter sup that game looks different.
Either way my point is so many of these games are just lost in draft. To me, it would be obvious to find the things that worked (drafts in game 1 and 4), and try and recreate it in every game. If we know what works for our team and players, why do we change it up completely in the literal next game? Our macro looked so good in game 1 when we had a scaling pushing mid. Like we have to stop allowing poby who we got for his consistency to be on flip heavy champions. Stubborness to stick to the meta has to change to fit better to what our team can actually play
Hear me out, even if we still manage to qualify to Worlds we all know what type of performance we'd be delivering, if we do miss it, it would put a stain on our record sure but we'd have a tremendous amount of time for scouting and planing the upcoming year which we all know it's what matters at this point. We are always one of the last teams to make decisions but in this scenario we'd have the chance to be one of the first and possibly get our hands on some good prospects
Hello instead of negativity i want to dedicate this thread to the beautifulmemories you guys have to fnatic in the last five years, because it is easy to forget the positive and focus on the negative in moments like these. Let me start; Fnatic Nations! We are the only org that cares so much about the players and tries to create an AWESOME community where we can share out thought TOGETHER in GOOD and BAD times. What is your favourite memory let me know in the comments :D
Ngl, I really enjoyed the games. We were actually playing better and have a mid jungle duo that can compete. Don’t forget mkoi mid and jungle have been playing longer. Only weak side today was top lane. Yes draft was not the best as well. Especially game 5, however we almost won today. I have hope that we can make 3rd seed at worlds. If we can get a new top laner, we will be really good. I know a lot won’t agree but you have to look at the games and see that our mid is definitely an upgrade. Bot lane is secured and mid as well. Jungle has been better since Poby joined. Now top either has to step it up or we find a new top laner.
Firstly I know they can still make it to Worlds, however these players can't beat KC or G2 in a deciding match. Some of them can, they all as a team can not, period.
In my opinion it's time we move on from Spanish duo. They had enough chances to prove they can bring Fnatic back to the top, it's obvious they lack something that prevents them from making the right decisions under pressure. Poby should not be judged as he was thrown into this dysfunctional environment and people thought he could magically make this team work. Let's see him with a fresh topside and then we can judge him. As for the botlane, I really hope somebody doesn't take Upset because he and Miky are the brightest light in this dark environment.
What are your thoughts guys ? Feel free to share down bellow.
I found it on Vinted, but I find the signature a bit strange since it doesn’t look handwritten. I messaged the seller but haven’t received a reply. The price is quite low — they’re asking $20 for it.
I'm pretty sure Shad0w is a free agent... you know we could like. get him and potentially make our team 3x better instead of forcing ourselves to play with Razork as our jungle? something that clearly hasn't been working? just saying....
Hey guys! On Monday I’ll be coming to Berlin and I’ve tickets to see our boys in orange, is there anything I should know? What time should I be arriving qt the studio? Is there a place to meet the players or get photos?
These are rumours from Caedrel and to avoid any "confusion" I'll quote what he said word by word.
"Koi and Fnatic are the clowns of scrims, every scrim block they play is just fcking fiesta, zero learning, complete fcking degeneracy, zero worth."
I mean, coming into Summer with only Humanoid being replaced by Poby and expecting a whole new team with a new found purpose is very delulu but assuming these rumours are true, I find it incredibly ignorant and distasteful that some players on the team literally have their careers in Fnatic on the line (and probably their career in general) and smh just seem unbothered by it.
I definitely didn't expect much but I did expect some players to try and step up their game even if just a tiny bit and showing some more effort put into solving some of the less complex issues we have, it's honestly scary how consistent some of those issues are...
Anyways let's just hope the World's plot armor is stronger then the fiesta we're about to witness on monday and we get to see the dream matchup of the gost vs the goat!
Hey, does anyone know how our preparations for the MKOI match on Monday are going? Have the scrims been solid, how’s the team’s mental holding up, and has there been any info or updates from the players themselves?
Last season people on here were blaming Nightshare and Humanoid for every issue the team had. We were a brilliant team stopped only by the ineptitude of Nightshare and the inting Humanoid. People were praising Gaax when he came out to question the players. Gaax was kept while Nightshare was dropped and replaced with Grabbz who's tougher on the players. Now Fnatic had two tough coaches that would call out the players.
Grabbz has been praised on here for being a saviour, but why? What has he done to earn that? After an entire season we look like an absolute calamity. There's more drama around the team for every split. Our results are much worse than under Nightshare. While we failed to win the LEC under him, we still looked like a far greater team that definitely went toe-to-toe with G2, dominating them for much of the games we played even though we ended up loosing.
No improvement can be seen due to coaching. Sure, Upset and Mikyx have been fantastic, but that's because they're great players. Upset was just as dominant when he was last with us and Miky is the greatest EU support of all time. On the other hand, the same issues persist and are even exacerbated. Razorks random inting can occur every game now (rather than just against G2) and Oscar is even worse than when Nightshare was here. When Nightshare was coaching Oscar would at least win lane occasionally even though he couldn't translate any kind of gold lead to map pressure. Even the drafting is awful, and that's after Gaax got a more important role.
A better team that was coached better was absolutely torched because they didn't win while the current coach is praised while doing nothing to improve the team. Just shows how much saying the right thing to the Fnatic fanbase means. Results are meaningless.
I dont see a lot of noise here so creating this post just to see some opinions.
I personally follow the spanish community, here the feeling is that KOI will stomp fNC with an 85-15 chances (this was said by supa actually), the players and staff of KOI have been giving some interviews and all of them feel far superior to FNC, Melzhet (KOI HC) said in esportmaniacos that FNC is worse than in spring.
In my opinion i think it can actually be good for us that nobody is expecting anything from this series, I guess we just have nothing to loose and this may reduce pressure but after all these years its hard to trust this team, anyways I will support until the end and I hope everyone does, see you
Since my pleather earpads are starting to peel off, I was wondering: which are generally better for sound quality and clarity between them and velour ones? Is sound leakage in velour ones that noticeable to the point it can affect music/movie/gaming sessions a lot?
Also, if someone from the staff reads this, are leather pads ever gonna be restocked? (And in case what are good 3rd party replacements?😭
Hi everyone! I have this issue: my microphone is not working, after 3 years of usage. I contacted support, and they did everything they could, so I thought asking other users/customers that may have had this issue could be useful.
Here what I've done by far:
- I fresh install windows on my pc bc of some issues (maybe unrelated but better specify)
- I connect headset, audio works, mic does not
- I reinstall all drivers and update everything
- Disable spatial sound
- Change settings on settings > audio > input > fnatic esports audio
- Change settings on control panel > hardware and sound > manage audio devices > recording > fnatic esports audio
- Connect jack only
Then on another pc (where mic always worked and it did not recive updates or any changes)
- Connect the headset
- Mic test (not working, except for the mute switch click)
- Connecting jack only, still not working
- Tried with another microphone connected to the headset, still not working
I did all these things also in different orders etc
Thanks to everyone reading, helping etc!

as of today they are up to 21st in the vrs system. the cs2 team gets alot of hate and pretty much everything on this subreddit about them is negative. but having 2 wins and 1 loss so far in their second tier 1 tournament of the season deserves praise. we would all like them to be better but the improvement is nice to see and deserves props.
Hi, Im visiting Berlin for a few weeks, and I wanted to check if LEC teams accept visits in their offices. I know G2 used to accept, but does anyone know if Fnatic accepts visits? They are very closed to where I'm living, so it would be awesome to check them out, and maybe buy some merch
Like, I've been seen coments from fans, LEC staff, streamers etc. about fnatic, some say they will get smoked, some say they are pretty strong, but IMO we just can't fucking tell. They played only 4 series, 3 of them aganist very low tier teams which aside of the first series aganist TH were pretty easy stomps, and the only difficult matchup looked pretty bad.
My point is, how can I judge the level of the team with such few games? If the top 4 were in the same group sure, I could make myself an idea of how strong is the team compared to the other 3, but when 3 out of 4 series are virtually useless i'm forced to only focus on the G2 series, which is too swallow of a sample space to draw any meaningful conclusion that is not very surface level.
It's just frustrating to me that I have no way of knowing what to expect from the team in playoffs. I can't take the G2 shitfest as proof of all being gloom and doom but I can't take stomping SK and BDS as a good sign either. Especially when the team has swapped a very important piece coming to summer, how i'm supposed to judge Poby's performance and adaptation to the team by only his first 4 series?
And that goes to every team too. Is KC doomed because they lost aganist VIT? It's one series, but at the same time is 25% of their split so far. Is KOI a strong team because they finish first despite playing poorly pretty much every single series? With so few games you can't really tell which ones are outliers and which are proof of strength. Is G2 even that good when they really only had one hard matchup? Is NAVI that bad when they kinda had close games aganist every other team?
TLDR: The format fucking sucks and i'm stressed because I don't know what to expect from the team going forward.
