The weekend cooking shots!

Sunday morning asian market run means getting some fresh roast duck and crispy roast pork over rice and a side of soup. Prices are going up, but I still feel like good value for $20.

Burger night! This week’s special was a Caesar burger. It included home ground center cut and blade chuck smash patties, Fontina cheese, my mustard pickles, and a mound of Caesar salad on a buttered and griddled homemade bun. Salad included lettuce, bacon crumbles, Parm Crisps, croutons, cherry tomatoes, and Caesar dressing.

I am an amateur home baker and was feeling kind of down so I made these sprinkle sugar cookies. Easily one of the best things I’ve ever made

I don't like how the smell of cooking fish get stuck in the house so I like to make my blackened fish on the grill. Sometimes I grill it but I like the crispy crust I get from cooking it in cast iron with lots of butter.
