[Homemade] Caesar smash burger
Burger night! This week’s special was a Caesar burger. It included home ground center cut and blade chuck smash patties, Fontina cheese, my mustard pickles, and a mound of Caesar salad on a buttered and griddled homemade bun. Salad included lettuce, bacon crumbles, Parm Crisps, croutons, cherry tomatoes, and Caesar dressing.

I haven't seen this flavor for a burger before, even in the places around me that pride themselves on having lots of different varieties (Granted it's not like I'm in some burger paradise or anything.) I'm honestly kind of surprised in retrospect, this seems like such a good combo! Looks awesome too. Thanks for sharing - I look forward to giving it a try it myself one day!

I'm disappointed you didn't put a little skewer in it for comedic effect. But well done nonetheless.

Damn! The kind with the little plastic frills! I blew it! I’m disappointed in myself.

I used to eat this growing up in OKC at Johnnie’s. Tbh this looks better though as it’s a smashburger. Never seen it anywhere else though.

How have I never heard of a Caesar burger? This is an amazing idea and that looks great

I did this the other day when I was out of lettuce but had Caesar salad. Great minds think alike

This looks pretty darn good at this point in my shift! Big question though… Bottled Caesar dressing or homemade? I love making my own, and have tried it on a stuffed burger (filled with sautéed mushrooms onions and feta cheese). There were so many flavors and textures going on that I had to make each bite take several minutes just to soak it all in. However, I think the salad on a burger is something I might try.
