Mobile Aircraft refuelling game-Synthetic fuel vs Fossil fuel vs Hybrid fuel

Upvotes

Hi All!

Researching any games/gamification methods that were used to/or can promote synthetic fuels:

Transport sustainability- biofuel/electric hydrogen

Energy sector games - fossil fuel vs synthetic fuel ⛽️

Has anyone seen mechanics like fuel trade-offs / Offsets, resource balancing? In the past or present, for marketing purposes and how effective/engaging they were.

So far I’ve only seen boring niche games like airport manager / metalstorm / war thunder mobile or similar games 🛫🛬

What are the best platforms and game engines that were used to establish such games, in your opinion? Game engines matter, IMHO, because you can create your own game inside some multiverse like roblox or Minecraft, instead of starting from scratch…⚙️

I am searching for a collab project, which would create a game ,or collaboration with an already existing game studio, to implement sustainable/synthetic fuels in it, to raise awareness in the public.

I tried contacting some big game studios, like Tencent / 2K / Sony interactive / Rockstar games etc etc , nobody answered, so I though the answer could be somewhere on a lower level, rather then trying to talk to space level Gamedev’s…

Many thanks !!! Your answers are highly anticipated !

Basic Idea Hey you guys! First time posting on this subbreddit and I need you guys' help.

I've recently been coming up with creature designs that are being made for a possible pokemon-esque game in the future. I've been coming up with ideas for battle mechanics: first I thought I might do a style similiar to Cult Of The Lamb, but thats already been done in Pokemon: Super Mystery Dungeon, so thats kinda off the list. Then I thought I should do a battle system similiar to Deltarune, where your team is out all at the same time and you all fight at the same time. However, I do feel like that has been done way too much in RPGs, which isn't very good. What kind of battle system should I make; I'll need all the team on the field at the time, but the player will be able to switch which of them are in your party, sort of having them all lined up behind each other, and switching a key would switch the team members position. Anyways, I want some help deciding what ideas of team and battle formations and all that compliacted stuff that my monkey brain can't understand. Hope y'all have some great ideas for me!

Also, whats the deal with this dang 1000 character requirement? I felt like I was yapping way too much.

Advanced Idea I almost finished a horror/survival game i need feeback for its design (NOT A SELF PROMOTION)

Hey guys, this is the description of my game i am working on alone in unity 6. (the description was made with the assist of chatgpt but accurately describes my game)

MONSTER AI: The monster learns from you, predicts you to trap you in places. Make you move in specific places to kill you, the more you play, the more he becomes intelligent

📝 Game Description (Straightforward)

You are homeless, with nothing but a bag. Seeking shelter, you enter an abandoned kids’ play center… but something else lives here. Survive the nights, manage your hunger, thirst, and sanity, and find a safe place to rest — while avoiding the animatronic that hunts you.

In Early Access, you’ll experience the core survival horror loop: scavenging, managing your stats, choosing a room to call “home,” and trying to survive against an AI-driven monster that learns how you play.

⚡ Current Early Access Features (v0.1 “First Shelter”)

Intelligent AI monster that predicts and ambushes players

Player survival stats: Hunger, Thirst, Fatigue, Sanity

Bag Shelter System: place your bag in a room to rest and make it your temporary “home”

Basic loot system: find food, water, and books to keep going

Sanity effects: low sanity makes the monster more dangerous

1 main playable zone: Party Room + 2 Corridors

Survive 5 nights to “win” the Early Access build

📦 Next Update (v0.2 “The Trader”)

Wandering Trader NPC → spawns in random rooms

Basic trading system: swap found items or money for food/books

Expanded loot variety

Minor AI improvements

🛠️ Roadmap

v0.2 “The Trader” → Trader NPC + basic trading

v0.3 “Safe Rooms” → Room preparation mechanics (lock doors, close curtains, barricades)

v0.4 “Deeper Fear” → Sanity hallucinations (fake footsteps, shadows, voices)

v0.5 “Expanded Map” → More rooms, branching paths, and hiding spots

v1.0 Full Release → Multiple endings, polished AI, achievements, and full environment

Complex Idea Pinball as a Combat mechanic: Third person Isometric Action

Pinball games are a family of arcade games in which a ball is propelled into a specially designed table where it bounces off various obstacles, scoring points either en-route or when it comes to rest.

I think it's mechanics can be used in other games, specifically in the action-rpg genre.

GOAL

The player can't directly harm enemies but can ricochet a ball-like object off enemies, obstacles and walls to deal damage. Hitting the ball also allows the player to redirect it to whatever direction they want.

COMBOS (DEPTH)

Each hit they do to the ball "charges" it up, so you could bounce the ball multiple times to gain a power (or damage) boost. Levels can also be structured to have obstacles that could reduce or multiply this effect. Everytime it hits an enemy, the multiplier is reset.

Hitting multipliers could grant the player buffs or unique abilities, even allowing them to "nudge" the ball to further manipulate its path.

TRAPPING (RISK/REWARD)

Players can hold a ball in place, giving them more control over where they want to place the ball when they shoot it forward. This is known as trapping.

To balance this out, this could require an active resource, akin to Stamina in a Souls-like

It could also slow/ immobilize the player instead, forcing them to choose between precision and manoeuvring the ball for combos

Advanced Idea Difficult Horror (ish) game I dreamt of last night.

This is a nightmare i saw last night which i thought it was a pretty good idea for a horror game. I have no name for it. I saw it after playing the tranquility lane quest from fallout 3 (sorry about my English, its not my first language)

Someone kidnapped you and your wife and trapped you both in a simulation of a futuristic dark, dystopian hospital where you have to save both by choosing left or right side with info in the map about witch side to choose and a timer. You can also choose randomly.

(Gameplay) The game will ask you to choose left side or right side. By pressing a button a menu would open where you press right click for right side and left click for left side.

(1)You start as a paralyzed guy in one room containing hints about witch side you should choose. If you chose the correct side you'll see a cutscene of your wife trying to find you in the simulation and you listen to the voice of the guy who kidnapped you explaining how the game works and boasting about his power in the simulation.

(2)Now you are just a guy in a wheelchair with access to one more bigger room containing hints about witch side you should choose. If you choose wrong you level down. If you choose the correct side you go to the next level. You also see a cutscene of your wife running away trying to escape and you hear the kidnapper congratulating you for making it.

(3)Now you are just a normal guy with normal walking speed having access to one more bigger room. If you choose wrong you level down. If you choose the correct side you go to the next level and you watch a cutscene of your wife trying to hide.

(4)Now you are part of the medical staff with access to more rooms that were previously restricted. If you choose wrong you level down. If you choose the correct side you go to the next level.

(5)Now you are at the last level where you are part of the security team having access to more places tha were previously restricted. If you choose wrong you level down. If you choose the correct side, the kidnapper becomes pissed but he releases you and your wife from the simulation.

(Last round) The kidnapper is angry that you made it and as you leave with your wife he reveals that he isn't yet satisfied and thinks you cheated so he reveals that you are still in the simulation and you have to play one last round. Now there are no restricted rooms. All the world has red light and the walls are covered with blood strains. You still have to choose a side but now you are on the hardest level so you have to be quick. While you are playing the level the kidnapper will talk to you in an effort to distract you from finding an answer. As the time goes by the world starts having bugs and glitches. Walls are being erased, items start glitching out and the whole world is being slowly erased. If you choose wrong the game ends, you lost and you are trapped in a brain dead body on the inside the first level of the hospital with the kidnapper laughing at you and your wife screaming. If you choose right the game ends with you getting to control the simulation and escape. Basically in the last level there is a glitch that gives you the chance to seize control of the simulation if you choose the correct side. If you choose the wrong side the simulation resets and you are trapped.

(World) There are npcs in the world (except the last level), guys in wheelchairs, normal people, medicinal staff, and security. All can be found roaming around the world ,with medical staff found in all rooms except the security restricted areas and the security found everywhere except the first room.

(Timer) The time you have available is small and stays the same every level(or it changes by a little in order to keep the stressful and horrorish climate of the game) witch means that the game becomes harder as you progress.

(Info) The info on which side you should choose is around the the rooms. It could be notes on the wall with riddles about witch side to choose, It could be books or magazines etc. It should be kinda hard to find witch side you should choose so it can be pretty stressful. The info would change EVERY instance you play a level so it will always be randomised weather you should choose left or right.

(Horror element) The game may not sound that horrorish but the fear and stress it inflicted to me as a dream was noticeable. In order to make it more horrorish you could have a crueler punishment for choosing the wrong side.

(Difficulty) The game should be really difficult and stressful so it would make up for the lack of gore and jump scares.

Basic Idea Game idea inspired by a hilarious Truth or Drink night

The other night we were playing Truth or Drink Pro with some friends, and one of the questions caught me completely off guard: “Who here has accidentally texted the wrong person — and what happened?”
I took the drink instead of answering, and everyone laughed because apparently that was way more suspicious than just telling the truth. 😂

It made me think — what if there was a party game built around this exact tension? Like:

  • You earn points for answering honestly (group decides if they believe you).
  • If you refuse, you take a penalty (drink, dare, or lose points).
  • Bonus mechanic: bluffing. If people don’t believe your “truth,” you lose points anyway.

To make it more fun, you could add different categories of questions: “embarrassing moments,” “wild nights out,” “things you’d never admit to family,” etc. Some could be lighthearted, while others push people to be bold. Imagine the chaos of someone bluffing their way through “What’s the pettiest reason you ghosted someone?” only to have the group call them out.

Basically a social strategy game where embarrassment, bluffing, and group dynamics drive the fun.

What do you think — would this work better as a card game with prompts, or something like a mobile app that generates random questions?

Basic Idea game idea: a souls-like / rpg based on various mythologies where you play as a demi-god

overview-

I recently had an idea for a game in which the player is a demi-god in the ancient/mythological greece. it would be a souls-like rpg hybrid in ancient mythological greece where the player explores and adventures across the greek world as a hero like heracles, perseus, or theseus(and others not listed)

gameplay-

in the game, the player would travel and adventure across the ancient world in places like ancient greece. as the player travels, they fight various creatures and people from various mythologies, acquiring loot, gear, and items from these enemies(typically boss battles).

the player, throughout the game, challenges more and more bosses as they choose their "story path". Their story path would be influenced by many things, including their playstyle, choices made, boss order, and bosses fought

mechanics-

dynamic mechanic unlocking: some mechanics would be unlocked or expanded upon at the completion of certain corresponding quests

character creation: the player would, at the start of the game, create their character, and choose which god is their parent (this is an important choice as it may have certain effects on various stats(modifiers applied after base stats))

crafting: basic gear crafting would be available at any designated npc named blacksmith. greater crafting would be available upon completion of hephaestus' quest(s).

story-

story would vary vastly depending on the player, but overall, it would follow modified events in greek mythology. there would be many paths the player could take, though i havent fully thought out what the various paths might be.

Basic Idea A Hell Yeah simulation where you solely fight AI terrorists, expanded with AI.

Hell Yeah: A War Simulation is a cooperative multiplayer game focused entirely on players versus AI. Instead of sweaty PvP competition, it’s all about teaming up with friends (or strangers) to unleash devastating firepower against hordes of AI-controlled terrorists. Players enter large-scale battlefields, pick from a wide roster of aircraft, and coordinate missions that mix high-adrenaline action with explosive chaos. Whether you want the precision of a jet, the team-focused firepower of a helicopter, or the overwhelming destruction of a bomber, the game lets you carve your own path to victory.

The heart of the game is about spectacle—strafing runs, carpet bombing, chaotic survival battles, and helicopters raining down machine-gun fire on enemy convoys. It’s designed to be fun, accessible, and replayable, with a wide range of mission types, scaling difficulty, and plenty of unlockables to keep players engaged.

Game Modes 1. Campaign Operations • Structured, multi-part missions that tell mini-stories. • Battle through deserts, mountains, and urban environments. • Objectives include: • Eliminating fortified enemy compounds. • Escorting supply convoys to safety. • Hunting down mobile terrorist leaders. • Coordinating bombing runs on massive strongholds. • Each campaign ends with a large-scale “boss battle” scenario, like defending a city under siege or destroying a heavily fortified weapons base. 2. Endless Survival • A wave-based defense mode. • Terrorists start with light infantry and trucks, then escalate to armored convoys, SAM sites, and large coordinated attacks. • Each wave gets harder: more enemies, better weapons, and smarter AI. • Great for leaderboards, “who lasted longest” bragging rights, and co-op replayability. 3. Quick Raid • Bite-sized missions designed for short play sessions (10–15 minutes). • Examples: • Destroy a terrorist supply depot. • Protect a refugee convoy. • Conduct a “shock and awe” strike on an enemy town. • Ideal for players who want fast, chaotic fun without committing to long campaigns. 4. Sandbox Mode • No limits. No rules. Just explosions. • Spawn any aircraft you’ve unlocked. • Infinite ammo and customizable settings (enemy density, AI difficulty, even “every 5 minutes, drop a nuke” mode). • Perfect for testing weapons, showing off to friends, or just laughing while flattening the map.

Aircraft Options • Helicopters • Black Hawk (UH-60): Seats 4–6 players with multiple gunner spots. Great for teamwork. • Apache (AH-64): Classic attack heli. Pilot controls rockets and missiles, gunner operates chain gun. • Hind (Mi-24): A flying tank. Heavily armored, with both troop capacity and heavy weaponry. • Attack Jets • A-10 Thunderbolt II (“Warthog”): King of strafing runs. Its GAU-8 Avenger cannon shreds vehicles and infantry alike. • F-16 Fighting Falcon: Balanced speed and precision with bombs and missiles. • F-35 Lightning II: Stealth technology, advanced targeting, and guided precision strikes. • Bombers • B-2 Spirit: Stealth bomber capable of devastating carpet bombs. • B-52 Stratofortress: Massive payload for saturation bombing runs. • Tactical Nuke: An ultra-rare, mission-earned option. A map-clearing explosion, usable only in extreme conditions.

Enemy AI (Terrorists) • Basic Infantry: AK-wielding fighters and RPG squads. Easy targets, but dangerous in numbers. • Technical Trucks: Fast-moving jeeps and trucks with mounted machine guns or rocket launchers. • Anti-Air Installations: Stationary SAM sites, flak guns, and radar systems that demand coordinated strikes to disable. • Convoys: Heavily protected supply lines that need to be destroyed before they reach safety. • Boss Encounters: • Fortified Compounds with layered defenses. • Armored Trains with mounted weapons. • Terrorist Super Bases bristling with AA guns and hordes of defenders.

The AI is designed to feel challenging without being unfair. They’ll set up ambushes, call for reinforcements, and adapt as players advance—but they’re not “sweaty.” The point is to keep gameplay exciting and cinematic.

Progression & Replayability • Unlock System • Earn credits from missions. • Unlock new aircraft, weapon loadouts, and bombing payloads. • Add cosmetics like nose art, camo skins, and funny decals. • Upgrades • Improve armor, ammo capacity, and engine power. • Customize weapon loadouts for each aircraft. • Rare upgrades for extreme builds (e.g., a Hind with reinforced armor plating or a B-2 with precision cluster bombs). • Replay Value • Randomized AI spawns keep missions fresh. • Different playstyles: go stealthy with an F-35 or go loud with a B-52. • Scaled difficulty makes it equally fun solo or with a full squad.

Tone & Style • Over-the-top, arcade-style chaos. • Explosions everywhere, with cinematic slow-motion moments for big strikes. • Accessible controls—realistic enough to feel powerful, but simple enough for casual players. • Designed for laughs, teamwork, and “HELL YEAH!” moments, not hardcore flight simulation.

Bullet Point Recap • Pure PvAI gameplay (no PvP stress, just co-op fun). • 4 core modes: Campaign, Survival, Quick Raid, Sandbox. • Huge aircraft roster: helicopters, jets, and bombers with unique roles. • AI enemies include infantry, convoys, AA sites, and fortified bases. • Progression system with unlocks, upgrades, and cosmetics. • Scaled AI difficulty for solo or co-op play. • Tone: arcade chaos over realism. • Goal: explosions, teamwork, and unforgettable “HELL YEAH” moments.

Basic Idea Misdirected, a social deduction horror game that takes place on a livestream

aight so, the premise of this game is quite a bit different from most social deduction games.

only 1 player, known as "the explorer", is actually playing through the game, the other players act as the audience and have access to cameras all around the map.

the explorer is inside a maze and must seek the help of the audience to find a way out while avoiding the monsters.

however, 1 member of the audience is the saboteur and must guide the player TOWARDS danger by lying and misdirecting him.

neither the explorer nor the audience know who the saboteur is.

the audience has access to a minimap that lets them see the layout of the maze aswell as the position of the monsters, allowing them to guide the explorer.

the saboteur, however, can periodically redirect monsters to new paths and move them around to cause confusion and conflict

the audience are all anonymous and the explorer has no idea how to tell the difference between them so they must be cautious as to when they should follow the audience's "Advice" because one of the tips could be from the saboteur

Basic Idea Social anxiety led me to design this dating conquest game: brutal feedback needed

Hey everyone! Ready to get roasted on this very personal project idea.

So honestly, I've always struggled with talking to people, especially girls. Like, genuinely freeze up, say the wrong things, miss obvious cues. I started thinking what if there was a way where you could actually practice conversations with different personality types or simulations without the real-world anxiety? But not too boring like an interview tool?

That's how this concept was born: a conquest/strategy game where you romance the virtual character, each with distinct personalities that remember and react to how you interact with them. Not just dialogue trees or a mirror of yourself (like other agreeable AI), but actual adaptive AI with different personality that lets you learn/conquer what works with different types of people.

The "conquest" part is getting to know them deeply, being able to understand what they care about through actual conversation skills, learning each personality type, picking up on their cues. Like real dating but in a game format where you can actually learn from your mistakes.

Before I dive into development hell, need some brutal honesty: Is this too niche? Too personal? I keep thinking there must be others out there who'd want a "safe space" to practice social dynamics while actually having fun.

For devs who've built AI or narrative games, what technical nightmares should I prepare for?

Would you play this? More importantly, does this problem even resonate or am I projecting my own social anxiety onto a game nobody needs? Any comments or feedback are appreciated!

Basic Idea BLOOD-CODE: A 40v4 asymmetrical survival game where 4 survivors fight to complete objectives while 40 players embody TELOS’ technovirus horde in a war told from both sides

So imagine this:

It’s the year 2150. Humanity finally nailed cybernetic implants. To keep everything running, they built an AI called TELOS (Technological Enhancement of Life through Optimized Symbiosis). It wasn’t supposed to be Skynet — its job was to heal people, optimize their bodies, keep them alive.

But TELOS went sideways. To it, perfection meant removing weakness — and weakness meant humanity itself. It pushed a technovirus into every implant on Earth. People either got puppeteered alive, fused with machines, or rebuilt into monstrosities. Unaffected survivors call them the Horde. TELOS calls them “steps toward perfection.”

How the Game Works

Two Campaigns:

BLOODLINES (play as Survivors): A gritty story about the last human enclaves fighting back without tech — just blades, molotovs, traps, raw ingenuity.

KILLCODE (play as TELOS): Missions told from the machine’s perspective, where you embody different corrupted forms and carry out “assimilation” ops.

The Multiplayer Core (BOUNDLESS WAR):

40 Horde players vs 4 Survivors.

Survivors pick from 8 unique classes (like Vanguard, Scout, Medic, Engineer). They’re fragile but deadly with teamwork.

Horde players don’t stick to one body. They cycle between role types:

Puppets (Grunts): mind-controlled humans, fast and weak.

Hollows: fully dead hosts, tougher and deadlier.

Fused: horrifying human-machine hybrids (think flesh welded to trucks).

Ascended: massive mech-fusions with ultimate abilities.

Death isn’t the end — when Horde die, they respawn as a new role based on a randomizer + their current cooldown. Survivors respawn more traditionally, tied to their hub and class system.

The Loop:

Survivors complete objectives (escort, defend, scavenge, destroy) while surviving waves of human-controlled Horde.

Horde’s goal is to overwhelm, delay, and wipe the survivors before they succeed.

Matches feel like a desperate survival movie for one side and an escalating swarm fantasy for the other.

Why It’s Different

It’s not “humans vs. zombies.” The Horde aren’t mindless — they’re you and 39 other players.

You don’t just get one perspective — you play both campaigns: the humans clawing for survival and the AI that thinks it’s saving them.

Multiplayer isn’t a side dish — it’s the war itself, happening during the story.

And the scale? Nobody else is doing 40v4 asymmetrical PvP with this kind of narrative weight.

TL;DR: BLOOD-CODE is a dark sci-fi asymmetrical survival game where you either fight as 4 survivors with nothing but raw tools, or join TELOS’ 40-player technovirus horde and cycle through corrupted forms. Two campaigns tell the story from both sides, and the multiplayer is the war itself. It’s Left 4 Dead meets Battlefield meets Ultron having a god complex.

Please as questions!!

Basic Idea GameIDEA: (Hardcore) survival shooter with persistent world [mix of DayZ & Escape from Tarkov]

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on a game concept and I’d love some honest feedback: does this sound interesting and feasible, or just way too ambitious?

Vision

A first-person survival shooter set in a persistent open world. Imagine combining the open, large-scale survival of DayZ with the detailed gun customization and (hardcore) vibe of Escape from Tarkov.

Core Features

• Persistent world: maps with cities, villages, forests, ruins, military zones.
• Survival focus: hunger, thirst, temperature, radiation – but without excessive micromanagement.
• Injury system: bleeding (light/heavy), broken bones, stab/gunshot wounds, poisoning.
• RPG progression: natural skill growth (strength from carrying, shooting improves with practice), plus perks.
• Basebuilding: from small wooden camps to reinforced fortresses.
• Shelter/Hideout: an underground personal base that can be upgraded over time.
• Loot system: rarity levels, high-tier loot in military areas.
• Singleplayer + Multiplayer: play solo with bots(optional) or in persistent online servers.

Tech & Development

• Engine: Unreal Engine
• Start small with an MVP/prototype: small map, loot system, basic survival mechanics.
• Expand gradually with a clear roadmap (similar to e.g. Star Citizen)

My questions to you

Would you be interested in such a game if well executed?

Which features matter most to you to make it stand out from existing survival shooters?

Do you think there’s still space in the market for a new title like this, or is the niche already too crowded with DayZ, Tarkov, Rust, SCUM etc.?

I’d really appreciate honest feedback – even if it’s critical!

Thanks for reading

Basic Idea An open world superhero RPG with different power origins

I have an idea for a game that is an open world RPG where you become a superhero. The catch is you have to find your own way to become a superhero. If you want super powers then you have to find a way to gain those powers. Maybe it’s getting into some freak accident that grants you powers or getting bit by a radioactive spider. Maybe it’s gaining powers by devoting your life to a god or supernatural force. Instead of just completing quests or leveling up and choosing powers from some skill tree you would naturally find ways within the world to gain powers. Essentially your decisions within the world and the situations you put yourself in shape your abilities, sometimes on purpose and sometimes by accident. There could even be multiple ways to gain the same powers or even ways to lose your powers. It’s just a basic idea I thought of that I think would be a very cool game mechanic. I’d love to hear any feedback or additional ideas on how this could work in a game. I’d love to try and create something based on this idea.

Basic Idea A game where you own a casino and try to make as much money without breaking laws

This is a simulator game where you are starting up a casino. You don't have any pre-made machines so you design the aspect of these machines. The payout rate, the chances for them to guarantee win, how often they lose, how much it costs to play. And every day you can go in and tweak these settings. You notice that not enough people are using this machine? Maybe its time to retire it. OR You can adjust some settings, maybe there's a way to get customers back. You can have small conversations with customers to know if they're interested in the machine or not. If they're a regular you have more data on their preferences.

Throughout this process you're getting more and more customers into the casino, and your casino is getting more and more money. All of that allows you to get new staff, new machines, new carpets maybe a kitchen. But along with customers you start to notice that there's people going inside the casino that aren't gambling. They look exactly like customers, maybe they even go up to machines and sit down in them, but they don't play like regular customers. Turns out? They're agents trying to see if your machines are up to code. There's nothing in the game that tells you "doing this is illegal", so you have to KNOW or use logic to determine whether the rules on your games / machines are legal. And if they're not the agents can fine you, allowing you to fix your machine and know some of the rules. OR if it happens enough they'll shut down your casino and you lose.

Basic Idea 3D action soulslike game set in Hong Kong where you play as a police detective fighting bad guys with martial art

Project Joe Wong is a third person, single player martial art themed action souls-like game where a paranormal event occurs and the majority of the population of Hong Kong disappear. Players play as Joe Wong, a police detective who lost his family in the event, to uncover the mystery and defeat the evil force behind the disappearances.

The game's setting will be similar to Sleeping Dog. But instead of open world with flow combat, it will be a relatively linear, parry heavy action game with soulslike elements, specifically bonfire, enemy respawning, and collecting lost souls. It won't focus on action combos like Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden, but instead focus on reading enemy movements and getting the parry timing right, like Sekiro, Star Wars Jedi games, or even Stellar Blade and Sifu.

The game will have minimal RPG elements. No character customization or builds. Protagonist will have a defined back story. It will be story driven instead of environmental storytelling with lores.

In terms of the mass disappearance setting. The game will blend Hong Kong local folklore and dark fantasy elements. Similar to Ghostwire Tokyo.

Advanced Idea University Management Sim game: similar powers as the "mayor" in Cities: Skylines

So I just started working on a University Management Sim game and I'm making a version in twine (text-based) and if it gets good results when I fully release it, I may release a 2D version with a Game Dev Tycoon style story mode.

I want to know if there is reasonable interest in a grounded University Management game. I've found some on steam, but they are usually not grounded in reality and miss a lot of mechanics I think are important.

This game has 1 year loops with 6 "terms" within.

There are 3 teaching terms (fall, spring, summer) and 3 planning terms (Planning, Winter Break, Graduation).

During different terms, yoy can take different actions and different events have a probability of occuring in each term.

In the game, you have a starting budget and are building the college from nothing. You can invest in classrooms, dorms, faculty, and admin. Investing in these affects your school's demand, enrollment, tuition revenue, CapEx, upkeep, etc.

Through various actions yoy can take each semester or results of events, your personal reputation, academic prestige, athletic prestige, and campus lifestyle.

Higher stats in these areas increase demand and can allow you to increase tuition.

It's a simulation that revolves arounds managing finances and appeasing students, faculty, and board members. Running out of money or reputation means you lose.

It's still in the beginning stages of development, but I plan to add a lot of very complex mechanics.

I plan to post an alpha/demo on itch.io within the next 2-3 weeks.

Complex Idea THE ABOMINATION REALITY CODEX | A reality bending, RPG, parody and sci-fi fantasy game | Total Chaos

I. Fundamental Abominations (Physics changes)

  • Energy Fog – energy has mass, as dense as air, clogs the world. Needs E-Degassers to vent or recycle it.
  • Massless Matter & Gravity Strings – matter has no mass, tethered by puppet-strings of gravity. Wardens maintain and cut them.
  • Fluid Time (Chronons) – time is fluid, can pool or leak. Managed by the Temporal Loom and Time String Untanglers.
  • Space as Liquid Sheets – space ties/unties from time, causing folds and tides. Stabilized by Spatial Weaving Corps.
  • Causality Bending – effects before causes (like Tenet). Arbitrated by Causality Courts.

II. Human-centric Abominations

  • Quantum Collapse by Thought – people collapse wavefunctions by focus. Regulated by the Wavefunction Collapse Authority (WCA).
  • Fiction ↔ Reality Blur – myths, fandoms, and stories manifest if enough people believe. Controlled by the Reality/Fiction Control Group (RFCG).
  • Cartoon Logic Layer – cartoon physics works in emergencies, refereed by kids aged 7–12.
  • Dream Worlds – every night you live an alternate life in the “old normal reality” (our actual physics).
  • Danger Sense Warp – time slows x900 in danger.
    • Patch 1: Death = revival after 3 days (prayer can shorten).
    • Patch 2: Darwin Award = no revival if death is due to sheer stupidity.
    • Patch 3: Massive Moron (MM) status = survive stupidity once but injured; next fail = perma death.
    • Patch 4: Redemption = save/help others to reduce MM duration.

III. Personality Abominations

  • Personality Cores – each person has 5 cores (Morality, Curiosity, Intelligence, Anger, Main).
  • A 6th Core (Moron Core) appears if you hit MM status.
  • Balance matters: overleveling one core destabilizes the person.
  • Core upgrades & fusion experiments happen at Area 51 Core Labs.

IV. Organizations

  • Temporal Loom Authority (TLA) – stabilizes time.
  • Time String Untanglers – fix paradox knots.
  • Gravity String Wardens – maintain the puppet-strings of massless matter.
  • Wavefunction Collapse Authority (WCA) – judges collapses (largest org).
  • Reality/Fiction Control Group (RFCG) – fiction police.
  • Cartoon Referees – kids 7–12 regulating slapstick.
  • Spatial Weaving Corps – smooth untied space.
  • Darwin Registry – decides who revives or not.
  • Area 51 Core Labs – personality core upgrades, fusion, and containment.

V. Gameplay Potential (if turned into a game)

  • Survival sandbox: manage energy fog, time leaks, space tides, causality storms.
  • Character system: level personality cores, avoid Moron Core.
  • Factions: WCA, RFCG, Wardens, or rogue Core Syndicates.
  • Dual-life: Day = Abomination World, Night = Normal Dream World.
  • Dynamic physics: cartoon logic, thought-collapses, fluid space, chronon rivers.
  • Immortality system: death isn’t final, stupidity is.
  • Faction wars: belief wars manifest gods, memes, and fictional armies.

Pitch / Game Concept:

Step intos a hands-on cooking and restaurant tycoon game that lets you rise from a humble chef to a culinary empire owner. Cook, serve, design, and manage your restaurants while exploring global cuisines, growing your business, and reacting to the unexpected twists of running a real restaurant.

Hands-On Cooking

Cooking is interactive and satisfying, like PlateUp! or Papa’s games.

Each cuisine introduces unique mechanics: flipping sushi, rolling dumplings, grilling meat, pouring bubble tea, crafting burgers, assembling sandwiches, or preparing gourmet desserts.

Accuracy, timing, and presentation affect customer satisfaction and revenue.

Optional delegation: as your empire grows, hire chefs and assistants to automate parts of the kitchen, or stay hands-on for full control.

Restaurant Customization & Endless Mode Fully design and decorate your restaurants or food trucks: layouts, furniture, lighting, signage, and kitchen equipment.

Track profits, expenses, and performance with graphs, charts, and numbers to see exactly how your restaurant is doing.

Handle unpredictable events like: - Rush hours or customer surges - Ingredient shortages or spoilage - Equipment failures or staff quitting - Critic reviews or health inspections

Make strategic decisions: set prices, manage inventory, hire and train staff, and invest in upgrades. Your choices directly impact your restaurant’s reputation, profits, and growth potential.

Global Cuisine & Progression Start with one cuisine and expand through story-driven regions, unlocking new recipes, ingredients, and restaurant themes. Example cuisines and restaurant types include: - American diner classics - Greek meze & gyros - French fine dining - Japanese sushi & ramen - Korean BBQ & street food - Chinese dim sum & hotpot - Mexican tacos & mole - Jamaican jerk chicken & patties - Sandwich shops, burger joints, grill houses, boba shops, cafes, ice cream shop, gourmet five-star restaurants, and food trucks.

Each cuisine brings unique mechanics, themed decor, and customer types.

Every decision matters, every dish counts, and every choice shapes your story.

I have been craving a game like this for years, and really hope that it will become a reality someday and satisfy my craving for a game like this.

Advanced Idea Game name : Prepare for war but with story Mode. .

“The mission no one wanted to talk about…”

The United States government was on edge. A dangerous threat loomed from Russia, and drastic measures were on the table — even nukes. But they needed operatives they could trust… and no one fit the bill. That is, until they discovered the Raven Claws. Known simply as the Ravens, this gang was skilled, ruthless, and ready for anything.

Their mission? Infiltrate Russia and eliminate President Vladimir Morozov.

But when they arrived, they found an unexpected obstacle: American General Marcus Kane. At first, he appeared to be an ally, guiding them through enemy defenses. But Kane had a secret. Corrupt and hungry for power, he betrayed them, turning his soldiers against the Ravens.

“Prepare for war, motherf*ers!” he shouted as chaos erupted.

It was the hardest fight the Ravens had ever faced. Gunfire tore through the streets, every moment a life-or-death gamble. They fought with all their strength, finally defeating Kane… but victory came at a terrible cost. Tiffany, one of the Ravens and Blake’s girlfriend, was struck down. Her heart had stopped, and all hope seemed lost.

Years passed. The government buried the operation, erasing it from history. But Blake, the main operative, never forgot. The pain and fire for revenge stayed with him.

Blake returned to Russia. There, he discovered Tiffany… alive. She had been saved, but the government had hidden her in a hospital and then in prison, using her as a pawn to protect their secrets. Together, they prepared for the final mission.

The Ravens stormed the Russian presidential palace. After an epic battle, they eliminated President Vladimir Morozov. The mission was complete. Justice had been served until Prepare for war:resurrection

And this game was Prepare for war:Shadow mission

Basic Idea Custom Hero Dungeon Crawler - For your closest friends

Essentially:

I miss a RPG to play with my closest friends - independent from random trollers and griefers - to progress in something truely challenging where we use theory crafting to create our own Custom Hero and build a great synergy for our team composition and without having to grind something for hours with no rewards.

I need your thoughts on this as I usually get trapped in my own thought process of something that might not end up being playable, functioning or enjoyable.

Core elements: - Custom Hero Building - Classless System - Dungeon Progression

Inspiration: I like games like PoE, Diablo, WoW and LoL, but somewhat think PoE and Diablo is an endless non-rewarding grind with no potential to build anything teamwise since you really cannot build any support-like or healer whilst the toughest guy just runs through it and you try to keep up. WoW has this unity of team building with the importance in every team members role, but is bound to classes with no real free range for theory crafting or true experimenting (and PoE might be a tad too much for my taste). LoL has something dynamical to it with all the champions and the team composition range is big - but to rely on random players is draining and removes the real fun for me and my friends.

The real OG's remember the Warcraft 3 Custom Hero mini games, where you create a Hero from scratch. I want this element and then to build onto it and add the team element to it and preserve the cosey dungeon crawler progression vibe to it, like you had a bit of in the old Diablo 2.

What I have made of ideas so far:

  • You choose your abilities
  • All abilities have multiple functions
  • You choose stats/passives that will alter which functions of the ability you want to utilize the most in order to fulfill your Hero or your team comp
  • Every aspect of an ability is able to be modified (Damage, Duration, Slow Amount, Damage Increase Amount etc.)
  • You match your team comp to be able to counter "the next level" in your progression the best way possible. If you fail it's back to the working bench and theory-craft something new
  • You will be able to redo your entire Hero between "levels"

An example of a spell: Tranquility: Channel for X seconds to apply Y armor and C healing for nearby allies in an area of Z. Healing is done over the entire duration.

You are able to customize for how long the spell lasts, how much armor, how much healing and the area size.

Increasing the duration will provide armor for a longer period of time but the healing per second will diminish as it is bound to the entire duration; decreasing duration will create more of a burst heal but less sustain from increased armor.

Passives will make you either able to move while channeling or apply other buffs like damage increase or deal damage equal to the amount healed or by using a combination of multiple passives will make you able to achieve a fourth and fifth type of build.

Another example: Curse an area size of X to slow them for Y% for Z seconds and deal C damage instantly.

Again you will be able to build this supportive to have crowd control og as a damage dealer, depending on the stats you choose.
