[Discuss] What kind of aliens are in other countries? If there are Romanian statues in Italy and folklore creatures in Japan.
In US it’s gonna be 6 7 child of terror.

I bet this thing would kill off most of the players. I wonder how they would beat it 🤔?

Maybe like Bigfoot and Mothman in the northern US, or native legends like the Thunderbird. In Mexico and the rest of South America, folklore creatures are just as abundant, similar to those in Japan — even religious statues play a role. In fact, I once did a fanart of a Gantzer vs. Mothman, which I depicted more like Blackheart. :P

Native american aliens would be insane, imagine the beasts that they would have to fight. I'd love to see them fight skinwalkers, wendigos or the Katshituashku.

Australia would be Bunyip, Yowie and the rainbow serpent.

Bro, Australia is scary enough with just the stuff that lives there already. No need to dip into mythology.

I laugh anytime someone says this, like sure snakes and spiders are creepy but like, at least we don’t have shit like motherfucking bears or mountain lions haha

Ive always liked the idea that the US had cryptids like the Jersey Devil and Bigfoot along with like war memorial statues.

I'd love to see the DC team fight the Lincoln Memorial. Or the NYC team fight the statue of liberty

Man I hope the author sees this topic and thinks of spinoff for other countries :D
As a french, the different monsters you'd see could be :
- Bioman, an insect controller based on les inconnus (based on popular culture like the tanaka alien)
- Christianity based aliens (Altrough Italy mission did that, I'd kill to have a Jesus as a 100 points lol, also this mission could use angels as they actually tend to be depicted)
- beast of the gevaudan (100 points, the aliens would be wolf-based + other animals you see in our forest I guess)
- gorgoyles
- A mission based on shrooms maybe :D

There are several overlaps in folklore so it's more a "best known" list.
Egypt: Several Egyptian gods.
Nordics: Norse Gods and other beasts from the Edda.
Greece: Greek Gods/ Half-gods and Titans. While they might appear as statues or humans, they could also shapeshift to animals.
Age of discovery powerhouses(England, France, Portugal, Spain and the Netherlands): Sirens, Giant Squids, giant Sea Serpents, Ghosts and the likes.
Germany/Central Europe(there are overlaps) would be based on a lot of fairy tales. So either you'd go dragons and other mystical creatures. Or you'd encounter several demons and the devil. Krampus being an example.
Ireland: Lots of pagan mythology from gods like Lugh and Balor, demigods from Ulster Cycle, Fairies etc.
Iraq: Creatures from the Epic of Gilgamesh.
India: Ganesha, Vishnu and other deities but there would be overlap to Kannon.
Middle/South America: Mayan/Aztec deities/creatures.
Haiti: Necromancers and Zombies
Some lore would result in a huge mission. Other lore is not tied to a location.

In Mexico would’ve been La Llorona, The Chupa Cabras monster and some mummies lol
