Question Dropping VIP during add/drop period

Will it be okay to drop a VIP I was registered for during the add/drop period? I just didn’t end up liking the idea of the vip once I went to a lecture. I know there’s this rule where you can’t join a differnet vip for the next semester if you switch teams, but it should be fine during the add/drop period no?

If you contact the professor it should be fine. Just be aware that the deadline for joining the fall 2025 VIPs is today

Okay. Also, I noticed that for option 1 of junior design (project class), it was changed so that after summer 2025, it would be completed in 1 semester instead of the usual 2, and that it would take 6 credit hours. But I’m wondering if it has been implemented yet and if I can still go the old route.

I’m taking some tough courses and the project just seemed pretty difficult and seems like it takes a lot of time.

Which VIP? Just curious
