Yearly reminder to everyone to stay away from pyramid schemes (StudentWorks, 6 Figure Student, etc)
If someone does a presentation during the middle of a lecture talking about work opportunity that claims to offer you an opportunity for "leadership" is 100% a scam. They will say they are uni affiliated but it's a lie they tell professors. Every September, they will send parasites on campus feeding on naive 1st/2nd years.

Any new students should look up last year's posts about 6 figure student - they had people enter classrooms and give presentations without any permission from the school or professors.
The same goes for multi level marketing schemes like YOUnique that put up posters around CRX. Majority of "business opportunities" advertised on campus are not looking to make students sell product for money - YOU are the product they are making money off of.

How does the university allowing them to be on campus? They need to be officially banned 🚫

Almost fell victim to this. I called them and everything to be a pet of the program. I did not qualify because I did not have my drivers license lol.

As a former StudentWorks employee, I second this.
Still the worst job I’ve ever had, and I’ve worked in an Amazon warehouse
