30 rocks vs 30 scissors vs 30 papers
The ultimate showdown

The losing icons do not disappear but rather turn into what they lost against. Neither do they bump into each other, they just keep going until they meet a wall. You can see the papers were surrounded by lots of rocks before they multiply. This is an interesting simulation tbh.

I need it to continue! Paper was nearly out of the fight and came back strong. Just after scissors seemed to take a huge leap and bam! Rock hits back and dwindles scissors numbers and paper was cornered. But they had rocks right where they wanted them.

There was another post in a different sub recently that was the end of this... I don't know if it was exactly this run of it, but it was the end without the start this has.

It can continue indefinitely. As one decreases and the others increase the one with the least population will have the most opportunity to multiply.
If there’s a low paper population and scissor population but higher rock the paper population will boom as the rock falls the paper will become larger and then the scissors which was the last minimum becomes the top predator. It becomes ciclic with no population quite able to bring the other to extinction.

Does an item reduction in rock slow the rate of change? Does an item in read lower or raise the chance the abundant item will start to drop rapidly? Can this simulation ever end?

I was immediately like: "Oh, that's interesting. What sub was this posted in... Not this time too long. Suckah!"

This inadvertently is a sort of simulation of environmental balance. Interesting concept. Have you ever seen it finish or does it continue infinitely?

Looks like a rip off of a game people round here keep getting really into called 'Rock, Smack, Meth'. Apparently you start off thinking you're winning but then as soon as you realise you're not and decide to stop, it's almost like it just keeps on playing itself. From what I understand it's a bit like playing WoW, but less habitual.

There’s a sheet of paper top left corner when gif starts that stays paper the entire time🥸
