weight gain

does anyone else feel like they’ve gained weight once starting to strictly be gluten free? i feel like every time i see a gluten free snack or treat i have to get it and try it because i feel like they’re limited compared to “regular” foods.

Indulging is part of the adjusting to lifestyle, I think.

You're learning whats good, worth the risk [or price] what tastes like wet sandpaper or a paper bag, what says its gluten free but ends up a oops great now theres something else I'm intolerant to?? moment... etc 😅😅😅

Or y'know thats what I tell myself 🤣 anyone else?

I’ve actually lost weight but I totally have bought foods simply for being gluten free so I can try them!

Initially I lost 40 lbs but that was a long time ago and there weren't as many options.....

nowadays I have to resist 'quality testing' the gluten free cake in the publix bakery at least once or twice a month

Lost weight. Cuz GF is more expensive and most of the time disappointing .I ended up eating healthier food.

My Hashimoto's thyroid group says that they are higher in carbs. Can anyone collaborate?

I don't think gluten-free is a weight loss diet at all. You still have to eat healthy 😋
