I'll never understand why people try to put characters against saitama isn't his whole gimmick that he beats everything in one punch?

Except against strong opponents he hasn’t. Garou and Boros for example.

He was holding back against garou, and he surpassed him soon after so

Except that with Boros he still easily could’ve. The fight literally showed that at the end. And Garou was using a cheat that let him reach the same level

No, his gimmick is being the strongest in his verse, there are MANY characters that he doesn’t beat in one punch. Even then it’s not a “gimmick” he just has been shown to grow at great rates before

This is only in the Manga not the Original Webcomics but even if it real his gimmick his adapt his strength to his opponent to be able to One punch him the finality is Always the same since he doesn't have limit to his durability and so on
