Discussion I really wish GOH gets a proper anime adaptation
I just finished rereading god of highschool for god knows how many times and it still hurts that it doesnt have a proper anime. I got into this series because of the shit ass crunchyroll adaptation and I really wish they continued it or at least rebooted this shit. Desperately hoping a new studio sees the potential in making it into a proper anime, hell I'll even take those new Chinese anime studios as well. I just want to see the fights between mori and satan and mori and mubong animated.

I’m still disappointed JJK got priority over GoH especially considering how the manga ended. They had some incredible visuals and fights, it only needed to not cram 120 chapters into 12 eps and people would’ve been begging for a S2, 3 and 4

Why did GoH anime get backlash anyway? It's a kickass anime imo, sure it's mostly just cool fights and visuals, but it's nowhere near as bland as the slop that is Solo Shitting and the artstyle looks pretty neat imo. You're right, it should've continued, I'd honestly prefer this over JJK even being animated in the first place. Rn I'm watching the anime the second time, first time I watched it was after it finished airing lol, 5 years ago... time really flew by

It's because the story was rushed and some parts of it was changed like the fight between illpyo and mori

Ahh ok, I mean on it's own I still think the story's quite enjoyable and yeah it's rushed, but I still see great potential for a season 2

not really they really fucked themselves over(like they didn't even explain han daewi charyeok, jin taejin vs nox(fight in the manwha) removed, along with the small training arcs during the tournament, jegal taek powers and oh how they completely nerfed jin mori and made jegal stronger for no reason(the judges got their screentime completely removed as well) just so many times removed and cut

Yeah that’s bad, but for what it’s worth I still find it rather enjoyable and I think id enjoy a season 2 if it ever came out. Plus I think they’d definitely step up their game if they ever made a second season, the GoH community may be small, but it always begs for a good season 2 if it ever comes

Its not bad just doesnt explain the power system an the character development, pacing etc its a easy fix with a season 2 or just remake

Something that isnt a manga getting properly adapted is a man’s wet dream. Whether it’s a Manhua, Manhwa, Webtoon, Novel, all of them get shitty adaptations for the most part. It’s so rare to find one that’s faithfully adapted
