I'd move the ball down a few inches that way I wouldn't look like an idiot with a ball on my belly.

Stand up. Tell the player you’re the one they hit, likely get a signed glove or something, and not have to look like a moron on tv to do so.

Nah I'm letting it sit there and requiring the player to maintain eye contact as they lift it off my belly
