For the pretender reveal this time, you know I'm sort of digging the new way he's revealed.

Oberon's reveal was from a ruler card that had black ooze "corrupt" it to the pretender card.

Hephaestion had a blank card that changed to the pretender card.

Lady avalon doesn't have any pretender reveal.

nine-tattoo dragon eliza doesn't have any pretender reveal.

Typhon's pretender reveal just had her name reveal without any cards which is possibly because she's npc only.

As for the count, his pretender reveal has his avenger card break and show the pretender card inside.

She also has a unique reveal in that it initially shows her stage 3 card with the symbol of a ruler that changes to that of a pretender.

No full pretender card showcase though.

I haven’t read the story yet so I don’t know how exactly it was explained

The explanation was that he's such a natural pretender that he can't fit any other class, hence why he's not an Alter Ego like the other Disciples. Pretending to be his Alter (As well as being an Avenger) were just steps related to betraying us.

I guess he was just hiding his class since we know he can do that, not entirely unrealistic since Douman was also pretending to be a Caster.
