Even if this is probably partially dictated by ease of farming, I'm not surprised to see JAlter in second. If anything, the fact that she got that high with even the U Olga hype train is a testament to her overwhelming popularity.

I would have liked to see a split between Extra 1 and 2 on the poll, though I understand that it's the way it is since you can choose two of one or the other.

In my case, I just attack first with my lvl. 120 NP1 Ciel. Then, let the support Grand Ciel attack with another NP. Turn 3 is either Jalter Buster brave chain with her NP or also letting one or the two Ciels join for the NP attacks.

The AoE Olga fights do take so much more time or rather, planning and RNG if you don't jave good servants for the job.

No, Flare Olga specifically.

Grand Olga (the one at mount Rushmore) I also end up 3 turning or 2 turning if the support Grand is damn good (basically an NP5 lvl. 120 U-Olga or Arc with an MLB lvl. 100 Black Grail and lvl 100 Fou CEs). The goons go out easy and then it's just taking her health down. Aqua Olga (the other AoE Olga) is the one that takes longer for me.

My Jalter is already maxed in literally everything and can't one shot Flare Olga in one turn even if she has MLB lvl. 120 Black Grail and a lvl. 100 Fou bond CE. I always have to chip 800 to 600k HP first through 2 Ciels before taking down her health with Jalter

If you're using a Ciel you could just card shuffle her, plug suit in Jalter, and then have a Summer Skadi support + Ranmaru. This guarantees a first turn overkill for me with just a NP2 Jalter NPBB.

But I don't need Ciel or SSkadi bond right now so I'm currently doing Jalter/Ruler Jeanne/SSkadi support with anniversary mystic code. If lucky can be first turn but it's usually 2, 3 if very unlucky(ie no Jalter buster cards until then)

To be fair, Quetzalcoatl is one of my favourite Servants in the game but I don't vibe with Santa Quetz at all, it's a very garish design that isn't at all what I was hoping for when I picture 'Queztlcoatal at Christmas.' Quetz sadly isn't particularly popular in the first place over in Japan for a few reasons, but I wouldn't be surprised if JP fans of hers had a similar reaction as me and therefore skipped past her. 

Also, I don't think any of the welfare servants have scored particularly well in these Grand roundups. Gameplay wise they're not strong enough for the 'meta' side of the fanbase to consider.

Also significance of Musashi being Saber Grand Duel Boss. Iori also ranked very high on official grailed/bond 15 lists shown during streams

I feel like there's a general consensus that, unless they're a diehard fav, most players prefer to have just one version per grand, and trend to their original version. It helps that Riders are generally easier competition than Extras, and Santa Quetz wasn't exactly a standout servant.

Ciel is simply one of the most busted units they've ever released. It's rather telling that until her recent demotion she was the only non-Berserker to make it into Appmedia's S+ tier. And the only reason for her demotion was that U-Olga is a near strict upgrade to her.

I would disagree on Olga being an upgrade to Ciel. At best Olga is a sidegrade in their niche because of her inferior crits but better np access. She does of course also have additional usage ways open but for the stuff Ciel does best, Ciel tends to be still the optimal choice.

They'd better give her some actual numbers on her skills. Practically 90% of her power is in her NP + battery. Some of her powerbudget is allocated into spots that contradict her actual functionality. Why does her S1 buff allies more than herself, a selfish looper. Why does het NP provide an Extra Attack buff, on a AoE looper. Why does her S3 have randomness for only a 20% color buff, it's not like she will actually make use of the 2 colors she's not using, since she's mostly a looper that barely uses face cards.

I recently saw a video where somebody pointed out that all her (self) buffs are 20%, and nowadays I feel like most farmers get at least 30% in all 3 buff categories at a minimum.

Yeah she was literally only sweet because of the rampup and refund numbers honestly. Her kit is awful these days besides 50% battery and the tiny multicore utility of 30% atk up for the other DPS. What's rough with that though is she has no trait bonuses so clearing waves for her is rough in a 90++ setting. Then yeah RNG on her rainbow buff is just bad in 2025, it has been bad for years honestly.

It's as if Nasu gets into his youthful otaku suit whenever he talks about Oberon and Umino.

For me, “Honey and Clover” is a very important work.
I can’t simply categorize it as an interesting work.
It's one of the mental pillars of support that lets me work hard when I’m struggling with my creativity.
(I get a little choked up at the episodes where Hagu is making things on all her lonesome)

And with that, before I knew what was happening, I'd managed to meet with Umino Chika, as blessed by fate as I was.

Humanity was alright after all. Yamada is so beautiful. Seeing as I am a wordsmith, I poured my attention over the line delivery and the monologues, like man Chika’s monologues are just so... keen... and heart-wrenching… yet so sincere and vulnerable, you write it so beautifully I’m afraid my heart as a creator is gonna break, it’s like your words as sharp as a knife powered up into words as sharp as a katana with “March comes like a lion”, I mean really take care of yourself... Still… I wanna see how it continues, I want Shizuku to become happier than ever before! (snip) Perhaps one day we could work together on something... even if it gets me killed..."

Very surprised to see Tenochtitlan so low, I was under the impression that she was beloved on JP. Or is it simply a matter of everyone else before her being just that more useful/more liked?

Also pleasantly surprised to see Voyager and Hessian Lobo so high. Dont get me wrong, I'm glad to see the doggo and the golden boy so high, but I was under the impression that they arent that busted, nor as beloved as some of the Servants below them.

Gameplay is an important part of this and Tenochi is a 4 stars Quick AOE sub-dps, she was never going to rank that great. If you look at the poll Appmedia did for the anni CEs for example with no gameplay influence, she ranked pretty high.

Oh man, this list makes me kind of upset. I'm not realy into Jeanne Alter. And I feel Ciel and Arc being so high up there is due to them being crossover characters from Tsukihime. I'm kind of shocked that Ms. President is number 1 despite vanishing from the game for so many years, Lostbelt 7 did a lot for her, but still.

I'm just gonna cope Draco isn't as high as I would like because she's possibly the worse servant fighting wise for the grand extra dual. Especially since beast eresh out ranked her and even took the minimum I wanted Draco to rank...

I didn't expect Kukul to be outside of top 15. I understand now why i don't see her much in my FL. At least for once i don't have a character in the top 5

There is a lot of surprises like Nobunaga being higher than Kukulkan or Tiamat being kinda low, maybe the AOE np It is a stronger limitation than I thought, I think her summer version would be high in the archer poll but Kagekiyo It's a bigger surprise now that I see
