my brother in impatient, like 95% of rockstar is probably working on GTA 6 and they probably only have some interns on a skeleton crew maintaining 5, give them a break lol

A studio that hasn’t been dedicating 99% of the team to the next installment? JFC some of you people lol

first it was a joke it seems most people understood that and found it worth at the least a forcible exhale but secondly this was definitely a calculated decision to push up console takeup at the expense of PC players not getting what is essentially a miniDLC that adds HSW and nothing much more other than RT this was not difficult to release with the other two versions of the game that they showed off existing 4 months before the release of the game on ps5 xbs, if they wanted it done they would have done it they are more than capable.

There was no world where they would add GTA+ before adding anticheat to the game. If you honestly think that, you’re batshit insane. It took them awhile to implement the anticheat, and even longer to actually make it work lol. So yeah, I’m not surprised it took this long. I’m more surprised that they did it at all. There’s nothing much to gain from it, next to nobody is gonna subscribe to GTA+ on PC when most players already have everything they want.

You think they make gta updates for charity? Rockstar is a for profit business first and foremost.

I don’t understand what you’re trying to communicate here?

at least it's free and we don't start over

u/Xx_TriipZRaGe_xX Feb 21 '25

Don't give them ideas.

2

u/Tobix55 Feb 21 '25

That's their idea, not mine. That's what they did on consoles

The game is in early access beta, cut them some slack.

I've owned GTA since it released on 360/PS4... but I only just played the campaign to completion a few weeks ago - after I'd bought it for PC.

Would have been nice to play it with these upgrades!

Fuck.

Think they wanted better anti cheat first so people will have to buy shark cards for all the new content

I’d rather have them work on GTA6

You risk and lose more with gta 6 being a flop like many games have been, compared to gta on pc being garbage and forgotten.

If it flops it loses hundreds of billions in revenue off the game itself and the company loses that in potential sales for any of its other products. Who cares if 200 million people defend it when you just lost 100 million new buyers. Rockstar loves money so that's how they think about things

Not hundreds of billions bro

Yes hundreds of billions of gta 6 flops
