kinda sucks that they made console players pay for the same game twice, whereas the pc players are getting the upgrade for free.

happy for pc players tho :)

That's why it took so long to release on pc, I assume. They knew it wouldn't fly in the PC market to rerelease at full price

It didn't fly in the console market either, though. Rockstar just don't want to cause any more hatred with the community already being starved for 6 news.

Well as a pc player I already bought it on 3 and 4. So how much more pain and suffering does rockstar want to cause?

Idk did they make ps5 players buy it again?

Yup.

That's not fair. Given you might have already bought it twice. There should be a double jeopardy rule. Can't be tried for the same game twice.

...good for you I guess?

I think a lot of people would have still bought it, even if they did

Oh, definitely, but not even remotely comparable to console players buying it on a new system. PC players are used to (usually) keeping their games when they buy them

If steam started deleting my library you'd see me on the news lol I do not have the patience to build that thing up again.

considering how much people in the PC market like getting bent by Nvidia instead nowadays, I don't think that sentiment means all that much anymore.

Maybe 10 years ago the relevant market had a more appreciable level of self-respect across the board. We're in a new era of endless hypelording, FOMO, grifting, scams and there's no shortage of useful idiots who will fall over themselves to do any and all the corporate asslicking necessary.

Hey, I'm not saying we aren't idiots, just that more people would be willing to buy the same game again on a new console than on the exact same system
