A F A D E are the notes, building a chord from each note's perspective
With A as root, 1 4 5 b6 Asus4addb6
With F as root, 1 3 6 7 F6maj7/A
With E as root, 1 4 b7 b9 E7b9sus4/A
With D as root, 1 2 b3 5 Dmadd9/A
Dmadd9/A is probably the simplest, and adding that you're emphasising F/F# with the vocals definitely sounds like a D minor thing to do

Why would you call the first one add b6 instead of augmented or #5?

I don't see a reason to prefer #5 when 5 is also present. Idk. What makes it a raised 5th rather than a flattened 6th?

No thats probably a fair reason, it just sounded overly complicated, but I did not think about that. Now I actually tried strumming it and it feels lika an augmented chord with a melody note on top to me but that can be very subjective of course.

I'm just carrying over the scale alphabet rule of not repeating a letter. My understanding of theory is a bit limited. When to call a note a 2nd vs 9th, or a 5th vs 12th in this case, I'm not too sure. Also unfamiliar with augmented chords in general, other than augmented power chords lol

Yeah Im sure my interpretation could just be flat out wrong, but I feel like if you dont have the context of a song or arrangement to put a chord like this in it can just be heard and interpreted any way you want to basically

It's a Dm chord with a 9th and A on the bass
So you can spell it Dm9/A or Dm(add9)/A
To me the nuance is that Dm9 implies a 7th (C) which isn't in the voicing, while Dm(add9) just means play a Dm chord and add a 9th

So overcomplicated.
It´s an A with a major 7. So Amaj7

There is no major 7. The g string is being played on the second fret, so it’s an A, not G#

Oh! Sorry. I did miss something obvious. I loved all the fingers ones step down. My bad!!
