Tickets
You can buy your online tickets here. Tickets are now digital, so you can buy them from all over the world (purchasable via credit card or PayPal). If you don't want to buy them online you can go to one of the many fanshops throughout the city and buy them there. Please be careful and only buy tickets directly from the club, as there’s been a big increase in fake tickets on sites like Viagogo and eBay. General sale will usually start 2-3 weeks before the match. Before general sale, there is a members only sale so be aware that especially for big games very few or no tickets can go into sale. Usually that only means games against the likes of Bayern, Dortmund or Union. You can find the schedule of when tickets for each game will go live here.
The most dedicated fans are located in the East curve (or Ostkurve), so if you really want to soak in all of the atmosphere you should buy seats near it (block P for example). If you are going to the game with your family there is also a dedicated "family block" (block A). Kids under the age of 14 are free. These tickets can only be bought in fanshops though and verification of age is required.
Getting to the Stadium
The Olympiastadion has it's own subway station (line U2) as well as it's own S-Bahn station (lines S3, S5, S75 and S9). You can take the train directly from stations such as Zoologischer Garten, Potsdamer Platz and Alexanderplatz. To plan your individual journey you can simply use this handy tool. Just enter your current location and your destination and it will immediately tell you what the fastest route is.
Inside the stadium
If you have any trouble finding your seats feel free to approach one of the stewards. They will tell you where to go.
You can buy beer inside the stadium, but at matches classified as high risk (such as Schalke at times for example) there will sometimes only be alcohol free or light beer available. Unlike in England you're allowed to drink in the stands and not just in the concourse. Of course all kinds of soft drinks are available as well. If you're visiting in a colder month hot drinks like hot chocolate and tea will warm you up. There are several food stands scattered around the stadium where you can find whatever fast food you might desire. There are far more options than just the traditional grilled sausage. Only small bags no larger than a sheet of paper are allowed inside the stadium, larger bags (as well as helmets and power banks) have to be given to the baggage storage located on parking lots to the south and east of the stadium for a fee of 5€. To be on the cautious side I'd advise you to drop off your bag at a big train station like Zoologischer Garten along the way where they have self storage.
Smoking is also tolerated inside the stadium
Before and after the match
If you arrive via S-Bahn you'll find small stands with benches outside that sell beer and the traditional Stadionwurst (grilled sausage) on your way to the stadium. Remember that public drinking isn't prohibited in Germany so feel free to drink your own beer on your way to the stadium. Pubs such as "Zum Hecht" or "Preußisches Landwirtshaus" are close to the stadium and will be frequented by fans on match days. Just like a lot of other pubs all throughout West Berlin from Wilmersdorf and Steglitz to Wedding or Neukölln.
Please keep in mind that this is a Hertha subreddit and not a Berlin subreddit. For general information on what to do in our city you can take a look at r/berlin for useful information for visitors

You’re a Hertha fan and are looking for likeminded people to watch with and discuss the newest transfers? Comment your city or look up if it’s already been mentioned and just maybe you’ll find someone in the same predicament.

I am visiting Berlin in October/November and I am planning to get a membership this weekend once the date of the dynamo dresden game is announced which I believe is this week.
Was just wondering if anyone knows how long roughly membership approval takes for a foreigner as it looks like the dynamo tickets will go on sale on the 24th of September.
Thanks

Edinburgh in Schottland.

GK: Oliver Christensen: Left Hertha for 3.8M to go to Fiorentina where he played only cup games before going out on loan to Salernitana and now on loan to the friends of our friends in Sturm Graz.
LB: Marvin Plattenhardt: Unable to find a new club, retired 12 months later.
LB: Maxi Mittelstadt: No.
CB: Marc Oliver Kempf: Stayed at Hertha for another year before being sold to Como for 2.5M where he played 31/38 games in Serie A last year.
CB: Filip Uremovic: Left hertha to go to Hajduk Split on a free where he became a regular starter for them playing in nearly 85% of games for them over two years. He joined Japanese club Kawasaki Frontale this summer on a free.
CB: Marton Dardai: Stayed at Hertha and will always stay at Hertha and is actually still 19 years old and an up and coming talent and will eventually come good, right? Right?!
CB: Agustin Rogel: Left Hertha on a loan with an option to buy to Brazilian side Internacional, where he barely played before disappearing into the ether, just to somehow appear back at Hertha for 2025/2026. He has one year left on his contract.
RB: Jonjoe Kenny: Stayed at Hertha for another two seasons where he played almost every game, including scoring a handful of bangers and the 90th minute equaliser against HSV in the Pokal. Left to PAOK on a free.
CM: Lucas Tousart: Hertha's all time transfer record signing left to Köpenick for 3M where he failed to establish himself and has been largely reduced to a bench/reserve player with ongoing injury issues.
CM: Suat Serdar: Left Hertha for 4.5M to go to Hellas Verona where he became a useful rotation player and featured in 40% of league games over his first two years in Serie A.
CM: Ivan Sunjic: Left Hertha after his loan deal expired and the purchase clause was not activated. He played in 80% of games for Birmingham City the following year before joining a 12 year old Cypriot club named Pafos on a free.
CM: Kevin Prince-Boateng: The last moment of his playing career was watching Schlotterbeck hammer the ball to relegate Hertha. Retired after the season.
RM/RW: Dodi Lukebakio: Left Hertha for 10M to go to Sevilla, where he took a while to establish himself but is now a regular starter and scored 12 goals for them last year.
CF/ST: Marco Richter: Left Hertha for Mainz for 3M where he was an absolute disaster for them before going to HSV for 300k where he had two assists all year, one of which was the winner for HSV against us. He then re-joined Mainz on a free and was immediately loaned to Darmstadt.
CF/ST: Jean-Paul Boetius: Left Hertha but was unable to find a club before announcing his cancer had unfortunately returned. After seeking treatment and not playing for two years, he signed with Darmstadt this summer.
CF/ST: Willy Kanga: Left Hertha to go on loan to Liege where he had 12 G/A in 25 full matches for them. Still under contract, he was then loaned to Cardiff City where scored 0 G/A in 16 appearances before Dinamo Zagreb paid 2M for him. He scored 3 goals last season for them and was then again sold, this time to Gent for another 1.5M.
CF/ST: Stevan Jovetic: Left Hertha on a free to join Olympiacos where played in about 30% of games over two years, but also won the UEFA Conference League with them. He joined Cypriot side Omonia Nicosia this year on a free and has 8 G/A in 5 Conference League qualifiers so far at age 35.
CF/ST: Jessic Ngankam: Left Hertha to join Frankfurt for 4M where he never established himself before being loaned out to Mainz where he again failed to establish himself. He was then loaned to Hannover where he scored 4 goals in 28 games. Suffered a severe leg break and was not registered by Frankfurt this season.
CF/ST: Florian Niederlechner: Stayed at Hertha for two more years to finish out his contract and became somewhat of a fan favourite for his passion and effort. Scored 13 goals in 54 games in the 2. Liga for Hertha and joined his boyhood club 1860 this summer.
CF/ST: Davie Selke: By the time you finish this, he might have transferred again. Left Hertha to join Koln on a free where he scored twice against Hertha the following year. Then joined HSV on a free and was promoted with them before being unable to agree to a new deal and left on a free to the Turkish club Basaksehir, which is the club owned by the political party of Erdogan.
LM/LW: Chidera Ejuke: Re-joined CSKA Moscow after his loan ended but was immediately loaned to Belgian side Royal Antwerp, where he played in 70% of games and had 10 G/A in 28 games. Went to Sevilla on a free from Moscow.
There's a couple more players like Ernst, Maza, Scherhant, Maolida, Darida, Pekarik, and Cigerci, but they all played less than 300 minutes and I have run out of patience to do any more updates. You were there, you know what happened.
