Evan Rodriguez brought the cup to Epcot today.
Also a rare hockey Goofy sighting.

A hockey player wearing a Mickey hockey jersey walking around scorching Orlando is hilarious and unhinged at the same time.

I was at Disney during the Finals. I was eating next to a guy wearing his Panthers jersey. Shit was feels like 100+ and the dude looked like he was completely comfy

It’s actually not bad today, yes it’s in the 80s but it’s been overcast all day thankfully. . . Can believe my luck that I was in EPCOT last weekend and Animal kingdom today,

We almost went to AK today to see if the Crush magnet was still available but went Epcot because it’s our favorite of the parks. Glad we did.

I so would have traded the magnet for seeing the freaking Stanley Cup at EPCOT, lol
But FYI, the magnets are still/back “in stock”, I think they ran out not long ago but they have more in for the time being

He has to be our most wholesome player on the team! His kids are at every home game for warm ups and out of all the players he lives the farthest from the arena (no I am not a psycho, he lives a couple houses away from my coworker). Such a cute hockey family!

Every game during warmups, he would pass each of his kids a puck through the hole in the glass for photographers. It was the cutest thing. 😄 They must have a million pucks at home!

u/Emotional_Match8169 FLA - NHL 14h ago
Aww- yes he still does that in Florida too. For a while he was trying to flip the puck through the hole with his stick. Sometimes it made it and sometimes it doesn’t!

Yeah, but how do you know where all the other players live, Mr. Not-a-psycho?

u/Emotional_Match8169 FLA - NHL 3h ago
Well it’s an assumption based on the fact that fans down here know most of the team drives golf carts to the practice facility.

Dang they should be in front of Canada with maple popcorn 🐱🐀

They went to Canada - just talked to Gavin at the bar

For the record, gavin is a maple leafs fan, and hates Austin Matthew’s. Thinks the leafs will trade for mcJesus. I like his enthusiasm. #GoodKid #LocalKid

Surprised they didn’t make him buy an overpriced commemorative cup in the park

Surprisingly out of all the Central Florida amusement parks Disney is most reasonable for food and drink. Less than a hockey game, more than the real world. Seaworld prices are bonkers but the ticket is damn near half the price.

Idk what you are doing wrong at Seaworld for drinks, they do OK there. Food, yes the food is stupid unless they are doing the Not Food and Wine thing.

u/Rikplaysbass BOS - NHL 13h ago
Not food and wine thing was last time I went and the serving size/quality was not up to anything near Disney. I say this as a passholder to both.

u/acart005 FLA - NHL 13h ago
Maybe its because my expectations are sky high for Food and Wine pricing but I've always found the Seaworld one to be reasonable. Got a lobster roll for one hole punch last year.
Then again I also appreciate how cheap the Seaworld pass is. Its like, a day as Disney.

Yeah. The ticket prices are outrageous and they just nickel and dime you with lightning lane, but the food and drink prices aren’t that bad. Especially in Epcot there’s some tasty food to be had too.
Last time I went to a lightning game it was like $22 after tax and tip for a large can of yeungling

u/Rikplaysbass BOS - NHL 19h ago
I spent $11 on the yeungling I was drinking when I posted this. lol

The cup has seen worse than the orange side of Mission: SPACE. It'll survive.

How’s Goofy’s defensive acumen? Asking for a team of offense-first defensemen.
Also, that Mickey sweater is tight.

u/Rikplaysbass BOS - NHL 14h ago
I have one and would in no way wear one at this temp. He took it off shortly after and signed it. From what we were told a kid was a make a wish kid and E-Rod being the absolutely dude he is made it happen and handed it off to the kid.

Ahh, I've never had interest in or been to Disney, so I've always wondered why my phone autocorrects the name of our utilities company in Edmonton (Epcor) to Epcot. Today I finally learned what it was.

Unfortunately not. I saw it was in France a hour or two ago but that’s the last I heard of it.

If I was in Disney and I had Rodriguez’s, The NHL’s and the Panthers organization's permission I would totally have Goofy wear a Lightning jersey
