Personal Setup Control panel for ha
Old iPad transformed into a controller for ha, activated by movement (controlled with an aquara p1) 3 minute standby and charging managed with a Sonoff USB switch and an automation that controls charging and turns off the USB at 100 and reactivates it at 20

Downlight hacs and get the mushroom light cards, they are much easier, prettier and nicer to use than the standard light cards.

I used chatgpt to assist me in downloading and integrating hacs. It's an add on.
On hacs it's just called mushroom cards. It will be obvious with its amount of times downloaded.
Chatgpt is helpful if you get stumped. Hated the standard light cards though,

It's the most complicated part, I tried two or three but to fit everything on one page this is the one that worked best for me

Just asking, is there a reason for the « only charge when at 20% battery thing »? Since it is old device isn’t it as easy to plug it and « basta »?

Regardless of battery life, keeping it plugged in 24/7 will cause the battery to swell. We had an iPad as a controller for our conference room at work and the battery would swell bad enough that it would lift and damage the screen.
