Best Way To Patch Wall Up After Removal?
Hello I’m working on some small repairs around my home. I just had some old defunct cable removed from the outside of my home. The cables ran through the wall of the house to the inside of it. (First two pictures are how it looks on the inside of the home, last is how it looks on the wall outside.) Person who removed cables said I can just pull the rest of the cables out from inside the house. My question is: How can I patch up the hole that will be left? What products do I use to fill in the hole and make sure it stays dry in certain weather? Steps please. Thank you!

I literally recoiled at the absolute buildup of filth on that line and the surrounding wall... it takes a lot to get that bad.
That plastic ring insert will pull outof the wall. Take a pencil or similar size object and push the remainder of the wire into the wall cavity. Spackle or call over the hole and then paint.
And dear God, live a cleaner life than the previous person...

I wasn’t interested in your judgment of character based on just less than two feet of space. There was furniture there that made it difficult to clean.
Repair person said it can just be easily pulled out, that was not my concern and you just repeated what the previous commenter said?
You are making a judgment of character based on a tiny area in a house? And your disgusted by the dirt? There are a dozen reasons why a small area in a house might not be cleaner than others. Get your head checked, loser.

Ignore that BS. My coax cables look this that because they were exposed to the weather for fifteen years.
Pull the cable out, fill the exterior hole with stucco patch and paint it or use paintable exterior caulk. Full the interior hole with joint compound, sand, and paint.

All you need is paintable silicone caulk.
