Primer peeling after popcorn removal
We scraped our popcorn ceiling and primed it, but the primer is peeling off in sheets.
chatgpt recommended Roman Pro-999 to seal the drywall paper/dust. Has anyone used it after popcorn removal? I’m trying to avoid skim coating the whole ceiling if possible — is sealing + repainting enough?
Would really appreciate any advice

You might ask /r/Paint and /r/HousePainting101 about this. The pros over there have run into this before.
This sub has often recommended “peel stop” and high adhesion primers for situations like this.
