How long would you go without cleaning your body for $10K a day?

  • You would still have to go about your normal life, you can’t lock yourself inside all day.
  • You cannot take a shower or bath of any kind, this also includes using baby wipes to wipe your yourself.
  • You cannot use environmental substitutes such as washing yourself with the rain.

Once you accept this challenge, it starts the next day, and when you quit the money immediately gets transferred to your bank.

If the challenge begins when I wake in the morning then I will fail this challenge within 15 minutes of rising. No wiping?!

I work in food service. Washing my hands is a thorough and practised routine. Hand-washing is the real world equivalent to scene transitions. "Okay, done slicing cucumbers. On to roasting chicken. But first, a message from our hand wash sink." So that is to abstaining from hand washing and wiping is going to make this a really different level of challenge for me.

Yeaahhh, that’s fair, and while serving makes some obscenely good money, it’d probably be fairly easy to find a decently paying warehouse job to be a line-working peon for a year where nobody gives a damn about ya and come out a millionaire.

As someone who had worked in warehouses, manufacturing, and related jobs for twenty five years, you won't last more than a week without bathing. People absolutely notice that shit and no one wants to work with the guy that smells like week-old ass.

But for 10k a day it’s worth quitting your job and going as long as you can on whatever savings you have. Even if you can only last 2 weeks that’s 140k payoff.

You think restaurant folk have savings?!

I think most people have something they could sell to live on for two weeks if the payoff is 140k.

I left foodservice a year or so ago. The one habit I will never break is washing my hands. I’ll be covered in dust come lunch but fuck me if my hands aren’t clean.

I didn't interpret this post as allowing for that. If I can't clean my hands I won't last a day. Due to my job I have developed a habit of washing often. It is a small tiny ritual in which I also do a 4-7-8 breath circuit and mentally prepare myself for whatever is next.
