it still works totally fine it's just awkward! has this happened to anyone else? did you have to go to apple to get it fixed or is there something i can do at home to fix it? thanks!

What more you do with your ipad?

My brother surprised me with an iPad M3 11-inch along with the Pencil Pro, engraved with my name, as a birthday gift. This is my first Apple product, and honestly, at first I thought I didn’t need an iPad. But after using it for a week, I’ve realized how helpful it is. With all the notes and PDFs I have to manage at uni, it’s been super handy and a real game-changer.

Got a refurbished IPad Air m3 for 500 euros. Good condition but thought I could give it a shot. Turns out it is an only 40 cycle brand new iPad. 200+ euros less then retail and I couldn’t be happier with this money shot. Will pair it with Logi’s pop icon keyboard and mouse for my master studies as well as the metapen (which is amazing for the price and full alu)

What other settings or gadgets would y’all recommend to pair?

Just got a new iPad 10A16. I used to have the Ipad 8 and I loooooved the Smart Keyboard since I was able to attach a protective case but with the Magic Keyboard there’s no option for that, and it it’s not safe enough to my taste. I got a Logitech keyboard but I’m also not feeling it 🥹 ugh I’m frustrated

Hi. I just bought an IPad Air 11, M3 and I need a lightweight case that still offers protection around the sides. I had my old ipad for years and never dropped it, but lately I'm having a lot of pain and weakness in my hands and dropped it twice in one day! I've bought and returned two cases already because they were sooo heavy. Does a lightweight case that still protects really exist? My other consideration is that I want something that will stand in portrait aspect as well as landscape. Currently I'm looking at the ESR Flip case but it is 345 grams. Any other suggestions?

So yeah I lost my Ipad charger and I have another charger but from an android and is a usb - type c charger, will this damage my Ipad battery by any chance in the long run if keep on charging with my 67 watts android charger?

Torn between the two and also been reading about the M3 overheating when note taking or drawing. This has massively put me off because my MacBook currently overheats and it’s a pain to have to keep manually cooling it down when it becomes too hot to touch.

Any thoughts from anyone on the two?

I want to use it mainly for note-taking, reading, and I want to get into digital art. I also want to use it as a second screen to move discord video into it whilst I’m on Foundry.

Portability isn’t a massive concern for me. Equally I’m not looking for a laptop replacement.

Don’t need to do any heavy editing on it but again lots of written notes

Currently experiencing screen flickering around the corners of my ipad. Would like to ask if anybody’s experienced this one too? If yes, what could possibly be the issue and have you had it fixed? Thank you!

I’m currently on iPadOS 18.5 and testing out the Math Results feature in the native Notes app. I noticed that it can “Suggest” or “Insert” answers when doing simple math like 240 + 72.

Before I consider upgrading, I really need to know how this behaves on iPadOS 26 beta:

• When I tap my Apple Pencil on the lock screen to create a quick note and write out a math expression, will the result still insert automatically, or do I have to manually trigger it?
• If I start a new note normally and write math, does it remember my preference (Insert vs Suggest), or does it reset each time?
• Does the feature behave consistently, or are there quirks in the beta?

I’m hesitant to move to iPadOS 26 because I can’t adapt to the new windowing system. I rely heavily on Split View and Slide Over, and my muscle memory is built around them. They’re much more convenient for my workflow.

So before upgrading, I’d really appreciate if anyone on the beta could test this and share how the feature works 🙏

Hi, i am in my last year of high school and i want to go to uni after that. But i need a new ipad, i have been surviving on my 32gb ipad for 5 years now so a replace is needed. I was looking at the ipad air m3 but i dont know how much gb i should take. I watch series/youtube on my ipad. I have school apps on my ipad and i maybe want to use it for note taking in uni especially(ill probably buy an apple pen then) i play some games but not all too much and i dont do many creative things on it like editing. What do you guys think?

I bought the iPad air m3 1 week back and the battery health is pretty good. I'm using 80-20 rule and it is getting 6.5 hours for me easily while using collanote, procreate and YouTube. Dont know what happened with other guys, they're saying its draining too quickly. I turned off background refresh for all apps except one or two. It is running on iOS 18. I think all the people who are complaining now are using the beta version or what? Enlighten me where am I wrong.

Hello, tell me please the best way of doing notes (parts of www which is linux manual) with higlighting some important text on ipad? I got pen and keyboard. What is the easiest way of have copy or photo of partnof the screen, not weight too much, and save it as one document for example. I want to have the mostnimportant things before i pass exams.

So, I have crappy vision and I’m trying to find a way where I can watch subtitled content with my partner on the living room TV with me using the iPad to read subtitles while all the action and sound is on the TV for both of us.

Normally I just sit close, but there “should” be a better way where I connect my iPad to the TV and can kick back and relax more on the couch and just duplicate the screen, right?

So far every app decides that this is not a possible use case and only plays video on the TV and remains inactive on the iPad which I would like to use to read the subtitles. I initially tried to duplicate the screen wirelessly through control centre, predictably the apps just automatically switch to airplay. Even with a HDMI/Usb-C direct connection all media apps have the same behaviour.

Is there any way to prevent this and to just mirror the screen reguardless of apps switching to only play video content on the TV?

Theoretically being able to use iPads to sync with a TV for text and subtitles and such would be such a great tool for accessibility so it’s frustrating that even the ability to mirror a screen seems locked down.

How to use iPad 2 like a second display for MacBook Air M2 without or minimal delay?

I have an iPad Air 4th gen which I believe has A14 Bionic. It is 64 GB variant. So, I am facing issues at both storage front and processor front. Storage is running out after every update and I have to offload multiple apps to proceed with update. Also it has started lagging with updates. Besides, even if Apple Intelligence is not much useful but it is good to have it and it is not supported on it. Therefore, I was thinking to sell this (getting sold for around 18k, I am assuming 16k after inspection from Cashify) and buy Refurbished iPad Air M1 which is available for 33k in Superb condition from Cashify itself. Also it is 256 GB variant which I find very good. It will solve my storage issue (by a big margin) as well as CPU issue and will also receive Apple Intelligence. Should I go for it provided everything?

Will be using it mainly for nursing school. Want to know which one is the better option, and worth the money .

Hi everyone, I’m currently using the ipad pro 11 inch. I was playing roblox the other day (specifically obbies) and suddenly i have to press really hard into the screen for my character to actually move. Is this like a screen issue? How could i fix this? It’s never been like this before.

I’m getting an iPad soon and I’ve been doing so much research it hurts my head. I’ll mainly be using it to draw on clip studio and a few games like Minecraft, probably also for school. I’ve been leaning towards the latest iPad Air but i see so many people talking about the iPad Pro, especially for art. Is there a huge difference? Or should I just settle for the iPad Air with 256 gb like I originally planned?

For the short of it, I've wanted to get into modeling. After I messed around with Tinker CAD...I got frustrated that it always needs an internet connection in order to keep using it.

For any aspiring modelers that prefer using the iPad, what apps do you like to use that don't require a constant internet connection.
