Getting back into drawing/art

Made these over the last week and a half. Used acrylic paint marker, gel pens, alcohol based markers and some other interesting materials found at Five Below with my fiancée. Just trying to feel out my technique as I’ve been getting back into my style and flow. I’d love to hear some thoughts and constructive/positive feedback. Let me know what you see/think/feel as well when you see my work.

Thanks for looking.

Art studies

Today I decided to finally take a step back and actually do some practice art and focus on the study portion and not be too hard on myself to be perfect. My focuses were on accuracy of anatomy, how well I could do it now and most importantly rendering (aka shading/lighting), and color theory. Recently I've been trying to get better at rendering especially in my main artworks especially since I have cel shading down already while soft/detailed shading was still a skill I felt I lacked in. Now after this study/practice I feel I should be more confident but I wont just stop studying with these 2. Regardless I already feel much more confident and proud of my abilities and how far I've come and how I don't give myself enough credit for what I can actually do especially when taking a step back to study/review it when needed. I think moving forward I'll be able to have much better looking works than before.

I tried realism for the first time to try out different styles. This is my oc, Ravyn Grimm. I don't think realism is really for me but I did have some fun with this. What style should I try next?
